I thought the US was energy independent. It doesn’t mean they get oil cheap from their own oil companies. Even in wartime emergency situations, the US has to pay market prices so oil companies can exploit and profit. In rich oil states, gas is super cheap. That would never happen in the US where an abundance of oil means gasoline is cheaper than normal. Another example of why everything is more expensive in the West despite how the US claims to have more domestic oil reserves than Saudi Arabia. Someone private has to profit is more important than nation security.

Is is this is true the United States and probably the world are in real trouble. There maybe an Apocalyptic Cult in the US government. They may think that bringing economic collapse or even nuclear war is a good thing. A hope is fake but the signs are not good.
