Canada and Canadians in general have always have an overinflated estimation of their own competence, morality, and capabilities. That's why it was the perfect fit for Ukrainian, Polish, Croatian, former soviet, hanjian children of Chinese criminals/shitlibs/hanjian/corrupt officials, and subpar European immigrants. It's a fundamentally racist genocidal colonial society that had previously covered it up with generous social policies until they could no longer afford it and had to resort to highly encouraged medically assisted suicide to take the burden off their healthcare system. And ever since they've lowered the bar to allow Jai Hinds, it's all izzat. It's intolerable, and it's why most of the competent HKers went back to HK.
