That's what I've been saying the whole time; China is a fusion of many things constantly incorporating things that work and rejecting things that don't. It has evolved into a system that has no accurately descriptive name because it is completely new an constantly evolving. But it's called socialism with Chinese characteristics because that's the sign on the door and nobody has any need to make a new one. I agree with that balance completely and I did so from the start. Currency manipulation, digital currency, different level of reforms, different reforms applied at perfecture level, capital is present in every aspect of economy, but in a different percentage depending on the sector. Main differnce is on politics. CPC has 90 million members but has also hundreds of millions of civil servants like SOE's employees, military etc. In every major foreign company there's a workers union directly controlled by CPC. You know...a government union inside a multinational. These people are workers connected to the government. This is a bit tricky of course as we observe working systems like Mr. Ma's 996 going on in China and this is not good. And we can also imagine the working conditions in special economic zones during 80's, 90's. Thankfully we can also observe in the hi-tech sector other SOE's and private companies are thriving. ZTE is a SOE, HUAWEI is a form of cooperative, which is very interesting phenomenon which could provide employees a more democratic, cooperative enviroment to thrive. Maybe i'm a little bit optimist but i believe that cooperativism(not collectivism) will prevail to monopoly capitalism as a natural reaction and consequence. And Huawei is thriving and almost top-to-bottom despite the sanctions of these jealous peopleXiaomi, SMIC...PRC is working very well we have to admit it. Somewhere i've read that another SOE is making carrier rockets Elon Musk style of appliance, commercial and "low budget" for internet,meteorological,communication satellites, using a civil version of DF-31 system complete with TEL. And it's the best option than any private space company in China. Trains and ships built by SOE's, buses, tracks, cars, aircrafts. In every part of the world there is a major appliance made by a Chinese SOE. We will win comrades HAHAHA

I don't love capitalism and I have the opposite of love for most of the countries that employ it, but I am against underestimating them, calling them shit holes or saying that they will collapse from the evils of capitalism. They will not; these are strong countries with strong economies that China must be better than instead of waiting/hoping for their collapse. One must recognize the strength of the enemy in order to challenge and defeat him. The brute power of capitalism at building an advanced and powerful country must be understood, strengths incorporated to improve China's system, and poisons left to taint other societies only.
Note about Huawei: it is not some warm fuzzy family-like company. The employees own shares but that is simply another way to pay them. They work very very long and hard hours when needed, are financially compensated at rates that are inline with market expectations for their skills, and anyone failing to pull his expected weight will be fired instantaneously. Huawei is cutthroat and it fought for its success this way.
Europeans are a joke and E.U. as an organization is an even bigger joke. Just look at how inept they were from handling their border issues when covid-19 hit the continent. The Europeans would be fighting among themselves if not for the big bad soviets then once that collpased, they had to create the EU to further prevent potential fighting/competition. No gurantee the EU will last, as we have seen with brexit , turkey/greece causing trouble, the french wanting to advance french culture etc
China should help the French achieve their goals of confronting the English speaking five eyes gangsters.
