don't bother too much with them. They are the new US lieutenant so that was expected from them.
What I find surprising was Poland still not quiting as well. In case you didnt known, US basically owns Poland, so seeing that they try to keep relations with China is impressive
IMO this further supports my view that China should support nationalists around the world. Poland is already governed by a right wing gov which is proud of their country and they wont change their policies to please the Western Europe
China should support these parties which are right-wing, proud of their countries and not afraid to go against the West when necessary
Btw Hungary is the same...
Honestly it depends on the right-winger. The enemy of my enemy isn't necessarily a friend, which goes beck to the earlier conversation about France, for instance. With the election less than a year away, while I'm not optimistic about Le Pen's chances of actually winning (not for lack of trying), and that's assuming Macron doesn't screw up royally for the rest of the year, either way she's not exactly someone China should be chummy with.
Yes, she's anti-NATO and would rather get in bed with Putin, but only because she reckons France would be better off with Russia on Europe's side instead of the US.
And perhaps more relevant in this discussion, it's so that Russia and China don't become the best buds that they are right now since she thinks that slot could've been more suitably (and rightfully) filled by France instead. And with Merkel on the out soon, a more assertive France could certainly pick up the slack as the next de facto honcho of the EU, which is exactly Le Pen's game plan against Macron for 2022 by painting him as the bootlicker that leads the country and its people to nowhere.
Were she to actually succeed, and please excuse the vulgarity, but her proverbial appendages will be wide open for Putin. And between bagging Europe or China, I honestly can't say for sure Putin would ultimately pick the Chinese if presented the option.
