Seems "shein issue" is really publicized in France?

It is a bullshit issue. It is all politics.

What are they trying to accomplish with such political actions? Who knows.

Sounds like someone just arguing for the sake of arguing, on behalf of their master.

Saw this video on Youtube a news report about an anti-Shein topless protest in Paris. There were only 4 women protesting topless with signs.

That's nothing. There are more topless women at a PETA protest.

The problem is Anglo and western influence and domination of east Asia. Go to Singapore and you’ll see its people are stuck in time, specifically 1960, look at how proud they are of their Queens English accent, the way they treat their Filipino maids and how a loser white person can find success just for being white in Singapore, where even the incel of the west can find out what sarong parties are. The rise of China invalidates their white worship approach and forces them to look at themselves with shame, if you are a man of character, you’ll be like the Taiwanese Gym Boss and self correct and support Chinese civilisational renaissance understanding that doing otherwise is to implicitly support the white supremacist default. You can also find this sort of attitude in Australia as well which defines itself by being anti Asian much as the Baltics define themselves as being anti Russian and much as Vietnam defines itself as being anti Chinese. You can see the CIA trying to cultivate the same sentiment in Taiwan as well…and failing.

There is no way back for them. Han Dan Xue Boo. 邯 郸 学 步

It's funny that Europeans like to think they're smarter than Trump, when even Trump was able to come to understand America's position relative to China, while Europeans without a fraction of America's economy still think they're relevant.
The EU is behaving somewhat like India in 1962 and 2020 (but without violence). Many European policymakers thought they could take advantage of the US China trade escalations and demand a piece of concession from China for themselves. This could be one of the reasons explaining why Brussels has taken usually aggressive stance against Beijing recently.

Holy shit these people actually have zero self awareness, does it actually take China completely nuking their economy for reality to set in?
I have long argued that China should just cut off rare earth export to EU (without affecting the US given the trade ceasefire) from time to time similar to how it is done to the US. In return, China could demand rolling back of the EV and other tariffs, removal of the human rights sanctions, and lesson official exchanges with Taiwan. Given France’s unrelenting stance, MOFCOM could also publicly call out French workers’ laziness and addiction to unsustainable levels of welfare as reasons for French auto sectors’s decline in competitiveness. Humiliations and PUAs should go both ways.

Not gonna lie, I don't like the US, but the US seems to be a little more generally aware of power and the current reality, Trump as moronic as he is is already publicly at least pretending to treat China as a peer adversary, the EU should just entirely be cut off for risk management with how absolutely pathetic they are right now.

Trump was just taught a lesson in how much China actually relies on the US market.
If Europe want a separate lesson they just need to ask.

China can kill the entire western auto industry by just banning export from one company's factory.
The entire European industrial world is currently living off one Chinese RE permit at a time.
The problem for the west is their entire economy is literally existentially reliant on China, while China can cut them off, i.e. RE and Nexperia, with practically no loss.

I would say the Nexperia ban is hurting rather than killing the EU car industry.

We would need to see far more extensive export bans to kill the industry, but this is feasible given global industrial supply chain runs through China.

And since Trump started the First Trade War, some 7 years ago, we've seen a push towards import substitution and dual circulation . So Chinese has few critical dependencies.

I reckon the volume Chinese manufacturing output (which includes intermediate goods exported abroad for use by foreign manufacturers) is roughly 40% of the global total, if you adjust for methodology differences/errors.
