tomorrow, the US government shut-down breaks the record for longest in history. air traffic controllers and TSA agents are calling in sick to avoid working for free, causing chaos in entry. this is the government that believes it has something to teach the world, ladies and gentlemen.

These two examples are not comparable. Trump is in power for short time with business background facing limitation of already existing electoral politics, demographics and culture. You already observed it with Trump parade.
Iranian have been pursuing this Arabic soft power for long period of time. They have Supreme leader for 50 years. it is very similar to Ottoman Khalifa. which made it permanent appendage to Europe. implementation of Arabic soft power in modern world is super complex and expensive.

I remember this guy making a anti-china song in the middle of covid. Unfortunate cause he had 1 good song i liked "stranger in the north" that he duet with other singers.. Currently charge with drug posession/usage in malaysia and investigated for possible murder (i guess maybe providing drugs resulting in od)
