I was actually at Nancy Pelosi’s house once. Not inside. I was in the area working. I knew it was her house because “the incident” happened beforehand and was all over the news. There was a police car parked nearby and because I had to step onto her property I informed him what I was doing because I didn’t want to get shot.

I think the closest Hooters to her house was in Los Angeles. You don’t find those those well-known red state businesses in SF.

It's both. All else equal having more USD is better than having less USD. China of course earns plenty of USD already from export. When you're not buying NVIDIA cards and soybean with those you can loan them out to countries who needs USD to repay loan ala IMF, except instead of forcing those countries to sell their SOE to funds China instead makes deals like bartering for resources, that way US can't harvest countries by causing them to run out if USD to pay loan with targetted sanctions.

It also trolls US since US is very much looking to sell bond on the market. All these drama this year: Trump falling out with Musk with the Big Beautiful Bill, Trump fighting with Fed chair, government shut down. They're all about issuing more government debt. For each USD China collects selling dollar bond that's one less dollar buying US's own government bond. 4 billion may be pocket money for US but it's very much a camel overloaded with hay on it's back with legs already wobbling and China just standing nonchalantly on the side casually tossing a few more strews on top.

Emergency crews are responding to reports of plane crash at the Muhammad Ali International Airport in Louisville, Kentucky.

"There has been an incident near the airport. A shelter-in-place has been issued for all locations within 5 miles of the airport. Please remain away from the area until further notice," Louisville Metropolitan Police posted on X.

The plane that crashed was a UPS flight headed to Hawaii. The aircraft was a McDonnell Douglas MD-11, FOX News Senior Congressional Correspondent Chad Pergram reports.

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear says he's aware of the crash in a post on X.

"Kentucky, we are aware of a reported plane crash near Louisville International Airport," Beshear posed. "First responders are onsite, and we will share more information as available. Please pray for the pilots, crew and everyone affected. We will share more soon."
