I fully agree that a country should only accept people who are willing to learn from their surrounding and adapt to the local culture instead of being hung up on their archaic traditions.

At the same time I believe that with steadily rising standards of living and with new advancements in technology, especially in transportation, globalization will march on and would become an even bigger force. It‘s only a matter of which cultures would in the end dominate the world since global culture would eventually homogenize. When a culture is perceived as „cool“, people tend to adapt it. That‘s how American culture became wildly popular around the world. You take a middle class person in early 2000s almost anywhere in the world bar for ultra-conservative societies, he/she would ve compatible with the American culture and would have made an excellent citizen there. Growing up in early 2000s you had TV shows, movies with leads belonging to all sorts of ethnicites. Yet, none of the nonsense talking points of „woke“, culture wars etc. existed back then.

The problem that you see nowadays on one hand is caused by a demographic that got rich all of a sudden and who are not exactly used to their higher standards of living. For example, I had an Indian guy tell me that even Pasta is a luxury where he comes from. It takes time for these people to get used to a modern lifestyle and just like that the current trend of immigration phobia would disappear as these poeple learn to behave better. On the other hand you have ultra-conservative ideologies coming from the MENA region which I think would also disappear as it happened in Iran. So long story short, IMO these problem are temporary. One should be careful before making long term doom and gloom predictions based on the curent state of affairs.

Now when it comes to China, it now has an unique opportunity to be one of the most dominant cultures across the globe just like American culture and it‘s beyong me, why anyone would miss up on that opportunity.
You have poor understanding of that region. Iran does not set the standards. Syrian government collapsed last year Russians safely airlifted several thousands Iranian and Iranians aligned people to Iran. They lacked self awareness.
Putin said every thing changes except one thing. what is that? i posted link few days ago.
Gulf Monarchies are one of highest spender on AI and I presume Putin have them in mind when in complicated way saying AI built on Russian traditions which can only be effective by increasing tourist interactions with Muslims to create a data inside Russia.

Think of them as Mongols or Xiongnu but on boats instead of horses and it makes a lot more sense. Or vikings who never stopped

The only way all three were stopped was really brute force to make their expeditions pst too much.

Japan didn't matter before because they had wooden boats. Things are a bit different today when it comes to tech.
You just described the Anglo five eyes perfectly.
I will tell you exactly why many Chinese people choose to live in the West despite a ravenous unapologetic love for China. It's because Western countries are filled with low-performing idiots. Life is too easy here. In China, a student can study 8 hours a day and attend every tutoring program the parents can find only to end up average compared to other Chinese kids. Then, this kid can grow up and get a job and work 15 hours a day staying at grunt level often being cursed out by the manager for mistakes because everyone is a diamond under pressure. In the US, that kid can study 2 hours a day and be the smartest kid in his school, all honors, Ivy League, etc... Then, he can work 40 hours a week at a 6 figure job and be constantly congratulated and promoted at work for being a super performer. Chinese people are like sharks; in a vast ocean filled with hungry sharks, life is always on the edge. But Westerners are like sea turtles. Drop a shark in a sea turtle tank and he will be effortlessly fat and relaxed and never hungry again.

Westerners like to brag about their society for attracting Chinese people. "If your country's so great, then how come you came here?" They thought they'd stump us. They thought that the answer we'd have to hide is that Western society is greater. But the real answer is another stab at their fragile hearts: it's because the West is full of stupid people so an average Chinese person suddenly becomes a genius and it's an easy way out.

If we ever become true titans able to change the world, we often return to China to finally outpour our love and support for our motherland. But until then, our hearts and conscience suffer purgatory in an alien land for an easy life knowing that even if we gave it our all, we still wouldn't be of any service to the China that we love and cheer for behind a TV screen.

Or you could shoot the dog and throw the severed head on the owner's lawn. Both are good.
and despite bamboo ceilings and Harvard discrimination against Asians, most Chinese will find success running their own businesses, compared to Indians who rely heavily on nepotism.
Issue is, the Anglo security services are already so obsessed over any Chinese organising themselves that they harass any Chinese person and their family, as Australia’s intelligence services did to a Chinese billionaire and Chinese journalista

The difference is that Yayoi separatist movement doesn't exist all while the Manchuria separatist movement actually does but it’s more like bringing back manchukuo. Yeah it is delusional but it is also a genuine security threat.
BTW-any of the line of PuYi still alive and ready to be used as a useful idiot?.I've heard of a Manchu princess commiting suicide with her Japanese lover in the 1950's but don't know anything else

Supposedly many Manchus changed to Han surnames.

There is one Aisin Gioro Mei, a singer active in China. She is a British national while the Aisin Gioro surname is from her mother. It is not clear which of her parents is the Brit. Dunno what's the name on her passport.

I don't think there is one. The closest I can think is Yoshiko Kawashima aka the Manchu Princess who spied for Japan but she was executed.
