Exactly. A hype on falsehood. Likely paid by the AI interests to pump the idea into population so they cab harvest more in the stock market. The biggest con ever in history.

Even most Europeans online nowadays agree that they are ants compared to China. Yeah perhaps, although it hurts my pride to say so, China is still developing and getting its urban aesthetics figured out, so few if any Chinese cities can claim to be as beautiful as Prague and Dresden.

Don't assume everyone likes 100 year old buildings with narrow streets as the epitome of ultimate beauty. Chinese cities with futuristic skylines are also very beautiful and likely the best in the world in terms of architecture.

Language models are also good at code
So the argument is LLM can intelligently decide a course of action then translate that intent into action via code and commands

LLM is the backbone or brains that can operate any robot in external world... that's the danger.

But models can be fine tuned, and system prompt can give it any role play behavior (see Hermes models) so it's a moot point...

Looking back at when Sam was hyping chatgpt 5 saying he was horrified at what he unleashed only for it to be underwhelming has to be really cringe looking back.

That's AI in the west for you. Mostly hype. Less about the actual boring implementation of it.

So they want to give money coupons to help subsidize the inflated rices prices but continue the policy of restricted rice production. Projecting output increases as an “medium to long term” policy with a focus on rice exports. All this does is guarantee rice inflation.

Suzuki said in an interview with media organizations that farmers are "very perplexed" about the current policy and are "worried that there will be too much rice next year and that rice prices will collapse."

Still, he expressed the view that output is expected to increase "in the medium to long term" through expanded exports.

Suzuki emphasized the need to avoid a situation in which supply exceeds demand, calling for "demand-based production."

My guy, your location says you live in Canada. By your own logic, you shouldn’t be living in Canada and you make up a bad immigrants. I would also guess that you live in a Chinese bubble without meaninfully interacting with people outside of it. Why do all these ultra hardcore nationalists always live in the west? You know it inside that there‘s a certain „coolness“ (for the lack of a better word) in the west. That‘s why you continue to live here. I know a Chinese girl like this. Every second sentence out of her mouth is how great China is and yet she lives in Germany. In her case, she would have to deal with traditional culture bs if she lives in China, especially from her parents. So many people love whining about the west and western culture and yet live here out of many different reasons.

I will tell you exactly why many Chinese people choose to live in the West despite a ravenous unapologetic love for China. It's because Western countries are filled with low-performing idiots. Life is too easy here. In China, a student can study 8 hours a day and attend every tutoring program the parents can find only to end up average compared to other Chinese kids. Then, this kid can grow up and get a job and work 15 hours a day staying at grunt level often being cursed out by the manager for mistakes because everyone is a diamond under pressure. In the US, that kid can study an hour a day and be the smartest kid in his school, all honors, Ivy League, etc... Then, he can work 35-40 hours a week at a 6 figure job and be constantly congratulated and promoted at work for being a super performer who should take time off to enjoy life more. Chinese people are like sharks; in a vast ocean filled with vicious hungry sharks, life is always on the edge. But Westerners are like sea turtles. Drop a shark in a sea turtle tank and he will be effortlessly fat and relaxed and never hungry again. And then Westerners will brag that it's because they have better water quality LOL

Westerners like to brag about their society for attracting Chinese people. "If your country's so great, then how come you came here?" They thought they'd stump us. They thought that the answer we'd have to hide is that Western society is greater. But the real answer is another stab at their fragile hearts: it's because the West is full of stupid people so an average Chinese person suddenly becomes a genius and it's an easy way out.

If we ever become true titans able to change the world, we often return to China to finally outpour our love and support for our motherland. But until then, our hearts and conscience suffer purgatory in an alien land for an easy life knowing that even if we gave it our all, we still wouldn't be of any service to the China that we love and cheer for behind a TV screen.
