Perhaps, maybe Yang can find success as a role player coming off the bench. Yi was never going to work out in that type of role. If it weren't for all the injuries, perhaps Yi could have a much more successful career. Yi is also much better suited for today's fast paced NBA than the NBA of his time.
This sort of immigration has never worked well for anyone in the long term, and with the global push back among developed countries against immigration, and the level of unemployment among youth in China, I can’t see China becoming the exception.

It will be about Lai miraculously surviving the shoot down of his plane as he tries to flee Taiwan after unwisely declaring independence. While drifting in the Pacific Ocean, he encounters a killer whale.
It eventually transpires that this is the actually Free Willy Whale, still alive somehow, and it can communicate with humans and befriends Lai and agree to drag him back to shore.
As they journey, Lai casually made it known that he prefers to be called Willy, whereupon Free Willy immediately turns on him and kills him by decapitation, and gained all of Lai’s powers and knowledge while screaming: ‘there can only be one!’
In the sequel, Free Willy travels to Scotland to use his newly acquired powers of stirring up separatism to promote Scottish Independence to weaken King Willy for his next kill.
This could be a new freaking billion dollar cinematic franchise.
