They should, they must, and they will. The Chinese and Russians ought to put the idea firmly in the noggins of their "liberal/capitalists/individualists elites that they can either become part of the solution or become one of the enemies of progress for their respective states. There can be do illusion that the western hegemony led and anchored by the U.S. will stop at nothing to maintain their strangle hold of the world. History is replete with examples showing countries and different governments being invaded, and overthrown seeing their eventual demise because they failed to bend the knee. Are the Russians going to form a new payment system with China?

Translation for non-Chinese speakers:
Australian Defence Force Major General Findlay says this is the first time since WWII that Australia faces a "near peer" enemy in China.... to which the Redditor replies China is a nuclear power that is 70 times Australia's population and 10 times its GDP - how does that make us "near peers"
India would and will get the same treatment if they decide to step out of line (reject US hegemony and US aggression). Yet the leadership of India thinks it is a good idea to align itself with a far-right regime that thinks everyone on the planet has to submit to it and adopt its ideology.
Lol some Australians believe they might have a chance of conquering China with DAH MIGHTY AUSTRALIAN ARMED FORCES, so that's what ordinary humans are like

EDIT: Now that the post was deleted, people are going to point at angry reactions from Chinese netizens over the dog insult and claim Chinese culture and people are superficial, vain, face-savers where everything is about face, whatever the phrase saving face means to Westerners. LOL! "Oh yeah Chinese people are all about saving face and can't take an insult. In our superior Western civilization, we can make fun of other people all we like. This shows how superior the West is and how inferior Chinese people are, they should learn to take an insult".
As an ACTUAL pilot myself I take huge offense to his claim of being a drone PILOT lol... you're at best a drone operator and not a pilot so stop insulting my profession bahaha
New Zealand's 'crucial knowledge' about Uighur abuses come from their North American master.
So some Westerners actually believe Uighurs live in a place called Uighurland. Wonder how they came up with the term Uighurland. I don't even want to mention the few times I saw the word "Weegers" ("China stop oppressing the Weegers!"). Weeger sounds like something you dig out of your nose.

Don't they know China is cranking out hard assets like crazy? These Aussies need to go back to their beaches.Lol some Australians believe they might have a chance of conquering China with DAH MIGHTY AUSTRALIAN ARMED FORCES, so that's what ordinary humans are like
Well tbf as of this moment the PLA only has the assets to defend all the way up to the first island chain.... and at a stretch out to the second chain. It can and will retaliate militarily against Australia if provoked, but it'd be a long shot for Beijing to expect success in an invasion scenario against Australia using what it currently has at its disposal.Don't they know China is cranking out hard assets like crazy? New Zealand is only 15% "native", kinda odd to point at others...
That said Beijing never said anything about invading Australia or any other country for that fact, so their fears only project their insecurities over the rise of a new superpower, and more importantly the fading of their relevance in a new global order that will be heavily influenced by Asia.
Australia should put it money where its mouth is, and withdraw from the RCEP.NZ is lucky at 15%. I think the U.S. and OZ is a lot lower. But hay, who says the U.S. and tge west ever needs an excuse to point their fingers at people
Of course Beijing never did. But why dies that matter? OZ wants to sell it to their populace that China is big and bad.
