There is an huge difference between developing Chinese territory and nation building foreign lands. I don’t understand why people here are so insistent on annexing a foreign nation where 93% of the population is not Chinese who don’t share any cultural similarities.

Is the purpose of the Chinese government to build and improve the people of China or the people of Myanmar.

The one who is being ideological is you with the lack of thinking of the consequences. China will be forced to deploy significant military forces to counteract the Indians reaction that will border on open hostility. Whereas the Himalayas kept it at a minimal requirement with mild relations. Russia will be driven back westward as they will become suspicious of their relationship with China over Siberia. BRICS will collapse and the global south will drift away from China. Total isolation in the UN, inevitable global economic backlash, loss of partners and friends, etc. Where is the wealth in such irrational actions?
