From what I know ASML establishing a Maintenance center in Beijing is to service all of their machines.

SMEE is an integrator, as had been discussed in the Semiconductor thread, all the major components provider had finished their expansion plan. 2025 is the year of mass adoption while 2023 is the inflection point as the testing and validation had finished their development.

Samsung and SK Hynix will be buying from SMEE, if they want to work with China. These pesky Koreans will be marginalized very soon.

It's a victory of sort if you ask me if foreign Giant FAB Conglomerate buy your equipment cause a) it gives you prestige and b)it help to improve your technical ability. So the Chinese gov't will surely support such a move since there's no downside, the machine will be staying in China with added benefit for the Koreans of cheap, reliable and sanction proof equipment, it's a win win for both side.

Watch them blame China for mistakes done by the west.
Watch them fire all the western employees, hire only Chinese employees and develop non woke games to critical success and then to the cheers of everyone around the world except those fruit cakes who claim that their representation have been violated

Lets not underestimate how deranged and psychotic this current Trump regime is. They could really view the absolute destruction of Iran (even going as far a nuclear option) as a desirable outcome. The idea that this would be some sort of constrained set of strikes while most likely, should not discount an utterly unhinged destruction of Iran.

This is a country that has harassed and targeted allies for no reason and with no discernable potential advantage to doing so. The idea that a global backlash could constrain their actions is silly, when I think for many of them that would be a badge of honour.

If you understand the geography of Iran and how big Iran is ......... you would understand Iran is 20x harder than Iraq and US now is not US in 1990s and US in 1990s (which was much stronger than US now) needed all countries to invade Iraq

Iran is quite advanced country, especially in military technologies, I think Iran is very very tough nut to crack by the US+Israel and will be extremely costly. It would be total disaster for the US if there is a ground war in Iran

Also do you think NATO countries would agree and join?

If there is a war in Iran ... the biggest winner is China and Russia

Frankly I'll believe it when I see it. To me it looks like all a show. Canada looks two-faced. Canada emphasizes that they're not angry at the American people. Just Trump. Well the majority of American people voted for Trump. Did it stop Canadian and American hockey players from brawling with each other? Then Canadian politicians are trying to lobby Trump to tariff China instead of Canada. Seems like slimy desperation if Trump is the bad guy. Trump got Trudeau to kidnap Meng Wanzhou to be used as leverage and they keep trying paint China as the bad guy?

If Canadians and Europeans want to put the fear into Americans in being isolated in the world, you don't screw around with the US's number one competitor, China. That's why I don't believe it. The US screwed Canada and Europe in having them follow their anti-China policies which is a large part why their economies are in the shitter. Europe losing a lot of business with China because of US technology restrictions but somehow they demand that China make up the difference they lost... Maybe they're just that dumb and that's why they don't know the US is the reason for all their problems.

If the Canadians and Europeans want to fall off the cliff tied to their leader, then maybe they should.
