It's things like this that creates the China Do Nothing Win meme.
Not that Hyundai will actually invest that much, or any amount, because they're not stupid, and also because there is no "next gen steel"
But if they did, that's $21 billion in EV and battery R&D they're not spending and instead spent on, of all things, American steel mills.

Yes the US in panic just over explaining why their mighty 6th Gen fighter has canards after they said the J-20 wasn't stealthy because it had canards. I bet that picture of the supposed F-47 isn't real. They just had maybe one of Elon's geeks draw up something so Trump had something to show. Why? Because it still only exists on paper. Remember Trump is the one who thought he can just use a Sharpie and redraw the direction of a hurricane to declare it official.

The best response I've gotten was:

F-47's fixed canards are aligned planar to fuselage, with zero gaps for radar returns, In contrast, J-20's swiveling canards have huge gaps and reflections, no unity with the fuselage.

F-47's canards are small unlike gigantic canards on J-20.

America invented the canard before Chinese jets were even born. It's mine!

J-20 is a copy of F-22 with canards added.

Freedom Canards are inherently more stealthy than Commie Canards by virtue of fact.

Yes, I mean, when I see people talking numbers like in your chart, my reaction was "Oh yeah, welcome to phantom money", or literally just papers. For example, TSMC CEO gave that 100B figure to Trump during his most recent announcement with the Trump admin, which is similar to Foxconn CEO did in Wisconsin during the Trump 1.0 admin. Anybody still remember what was actually going on for that bigly Foxconn investment in Wisconsin?

The easiest out to not admiting they were wrong about canards is to simply point out neither J36 nor J50 has canards, but that would require them to admit F47 is inferior

The best is when they don't even realize F-47 has canards, and them citing this photo as superior design of F-47....

This 'superior design' looks awfully closer to SHENGAD J-50 than the actual canarded F-47.
