Weren’t you the dude who said that Chinese language ability (and thus implicitly access to Chinese language sources) wasn’t a prerequisite to a strong understanding of China and the PLA?
Please be mindful. They realize that even their own propaganda ain't working and they are going to lose their life if they keep thinking like that.

So they have to resort to such lowly methods to obtain information...

It's not just their education system they got to worry about. More than 40% of South Korea's GDP is controlled by 4 families. A more unbalanced major economy you will not find.

Trump only just took office a few months ago, give the man a few more years and he will pump the US numbers to be truly world leading and unbeatable where him and Elon alone will control more than 40%.

Koreans are arrogant, but they are going to copy China's plans of developing their economy.
Honestly I feel like Korea's time in the sun has already come and gone now. They're no longer the cool guys in the room. All that soft power they invested in like Kpop/Kdrama/Samsung etc... all gone now. I guess they still have a good football team being one of the best in Asia which means absolutely nothing on the world cup stage where multiple European teams can bury it.

So no wonder they're pissed esp at China. They could have had another decade of glory with Japan going down the drain but nope China exists.

Probably started after BTS suspended touring. They peaked there and nothing else came close to replace them. I am a casual viewer and I noticed I don't see as much Kpop exposure compared to before. Its pretty telling when Lisa who's probably one if not their biggest stars isn't even Korean.

Pop stands for Popular music which is driven by trends. What is considered trendy and cool will eventually age and become "uncool" and be replaced by something else.
