It seems that some of our neighbours in South Korea are waking up to the actual reality that China's ascendancy has been carefully nurtured and encouraged not just by the Chinese society, but by the party state apparatus responsible for the unprecedented growth and progress that China is experiencing across all domains.

Reading some of the comments of the YouTube video the Koreans are lamenting the actual sorry state of their country's education system that's been heavily geared towards lawyers, liberal arts, patent lawyers, Doctors, and more doctors. One of the comment even said that perhaps it's time for Koreans to stop looking down on big countries: N.Koreans look down on the U.S. while South Koreans look down on China!! Perhaps it's in our blood to be spiteful of those who's bigger and better than us!!

(There seem to have been a "standoff" between CN coastguard and SK coastguard near Suyan reef, this reef seem to be strategic for location (almost equidistant from SK, japan and shanghai city), and for demarcation of sea border?)

"UAE commits to $1.4 trillion investment framework in US, White House says

The United Arab Emirates has committed to a 10-year, $1.4 trillion investment framework in the United States after top UAE officials met President Donald Trump this week, a White House official said on Friday.
The new framework will "substantially increase the UAE's existing investments in the U.S. economy" in AI infrastructure, semiconductors, energy, and American manufacturing, the official told Reuters.[...]"

Another of my prediction become right. Arabs will be all in with Trump and if Trump display decisive Hard Power than Arabs will force most of the world to stand behind US.
they weaken France in Africa to make it needy and than reenter into Strategic partnership. they expect things to go there way inside Europe.

South Korea opposition brings motion to impeach acting president

SEOUL, March 21 (Reuters) - South Korean opposition parties raised a motion to impeach acting President Choi Sang-mok on Friday, the majority Democratic Party said, in a move likely to escalate recent political strife in the country.

Although the motion starts a process that would lead to a vote by parliament to pass it by a simple majority, the timetable was not immediately clear.

leading the country after President Yoon Suk Yeol was impeached over a short-lived martial law he declared in December.

The acting president has angered opposition parties, which have a commanding majority in parliament, by repeatedly vetoing bills and holding off appointing a Constitutional Court justice approved by the assembly who is viewed as liberal-leaning.

Choi's office said it had no comment. On Thursday, Choi said his focus is entirely on stabilising the country, which is in the midst of international and domestic turbulence, calling it a "luxury" for him to think about his future.

The court is reviewing Yoon's impeachment and is expected to deliver its ruling soon on whether to permanently remove him from office or reinstate him.

If Yoon is ousted, a new election must be held within 60 days.

The Democratic Party was aware of the fatigue among the public and in parliament over the more than two dozen motions it has brought to impeach officials from the Yoon administration, Myongji University Professor Shin Yul said.

But appointing one more liberal judge to the court could have major political repercussions because it increases the prospect of removing Yoon and forcing a new election, Shin said.

"There is just one thing the Democratic Party is aiming for and that's an early election, and as early as possible at that," he said.

Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung leads polling on who should be the next president.

He faces multiple criminal trials himself that could disqualify him from running for election. The charges include election law violations and misuse of public funds.

As the wait for the court's ruling has dragged on, tensions between opposing parties in parliament and on the streets have intensified amid calls for and against Yoon's ouster.

The majority of the public backs Yoon's removal, according to opinion polls, although support has ebbed since the initial days after the martial law declaration last December.

A Gallup Korea poll released on Friday showed 58% of respondents supported Yoon's removal.

His martial law decree plunged Asia's fourth-largest economy, which had been considered a thriving democracy, into an unprecedented constitutional crisis.

Opposition parties also impeached Prime Minister Han Duck-soo after he became acting president. The Constitutional Court is due to rule on his impeachment on Monday; if it is struck down, that would mean Han would return and replace Choi as acting leader.

The Democratic Party has said Choi has been violating his constitutional duty by refusing to appoint the Constitutional Court judge despite a ruling by the top court that such inaction was infringing on parliament's authority.
