In NPC, you can see a weird scenario, where people are trying to marry Communist Ideology with incredible advances in high-tech. The Deepseek story tells us China indeed can innovate. There're lots of innovation going on, but they're hitting a bottleneck. Communism has no freedom. Communism is the enemy of tech innovation. China's top leaders want to totally control its tech firms, you can see that from NPC. With tech development, China need to change its political system sometime in the future. There has to be more transparency and less regulations, otherwise China's economy will always in trouble. However, CCP is unlikely to give up its power. So that's China's biggest problem.
