I think you are comparing apples and oranges. I posted that link to deadline.com for US movie viewers, who don't have inkling about China. From a Hollywood media angle, that English piece on a foreign film is pretty professional. And from a third angle, his rendering of the storyline is pretty matter-of-fact. This is entertainment, not cold war. If some Americans pay 10 bucks apiece watching Chinese films and come out not bitching, then I am rather happy.
