Reestablishing an industry base is something that could take years, if not decades with proper planning and implementation. Does Trump strike as you as the type who has the patience for that?

As for Musk, he doesn't seem to be pragmatic enough to realize Trump can only protect him for a max of 4 years, assuming Trump doesn't kick him to the curb by then. He is pissing off many powerful people on a personal level. They'll be gunning for him.

Also why is Musk dragging his kid everywhere ? Is he using his kid as a shield to deter assassination attempts ?

Trump can pardon him a few seconds before his term end, so Musk can no be prosecuted. Just like Biden did to his family, so no problem at all

Yes, but what at what cost? There is a hard limit to US bureaucratic reform due to economic and political costs. Plus the population crisis among white Americans, rampant political polarization, stagnant economy, and housing bubble crisis will experience a "hard landing" if the CCP Trump-DOGE authoritarian regime pushes too fast, too far. Thereby harming the regime's legitimacy, planting the seeds of liberal democratic revolution.

It's known, there are a lot of Chinese parts in American MIC. Recall that story about PLAN looking for a company to make arresting cables for carriers and a company realizing they've been making arresting cables for USN middleman all these years after seeing the PLAN spec.

You don't want to look too deeply into the US MIC supply chain, if you do you might unearth very uncomfortable things.
