Aren't they currently in power ? Pezeshkian was endorsed by Rouhani and Zarif plays a prominent role in his administration.You know what would be funny? If the "reformers" faction in Iran also gets rekt due to USAID closing shop. They seemed like they are so close to coming to power, could have a "saved by the bell" situation here.
I think Iranians generally favour reformists.
Iranian principlists really only win when Guardian Council disqualifies all well know reformist candidates from running LOL.
