AFAIK China is allowed to take counter actions while WTO case is pending

Final result will emerge if/when WTO court makes a final ruling (not happening btw)

For now, lets put the WTO front and center to show adherence to the rules, and later down the line can always take counter actions to effectively punish and further deter the US

Its all a big show after all. Everyone knows that US has blocked WTO, but at least China will be showing its willingness to follow WTO rules which will significantly alleviate fears that China is a rogue actor and further magnify the difference between it and the US

When fighting a global war against the Hegemon, taking the moral high ground and showing leadership is important. Soft power is an amplifier of your hard power after all
Is it true tho, i read online before that skme wto judge/arbiters(?) Positions r still vacant bcoz of their veto?

WTO is not functional rn. China, EU and other countries though have set up another way of bypassing this, Multi-Party Interim Appeals Arrangement, so when they have disputes between themselves they just use that and not the WTO system that US is blocking

So yes, China's WTO case against US won't go anywhere

The Anglo Zionists are now in the bargaining stage, effectively begging China to allow them to have the americas as their sphere of influence. Also, the reason why trump is so hard on against BRICS diversifying away from the USD is because it’s going to push inflation back into the U.S. with all the crap that trump wants to do, to restore manufacturing back to the States.

We haven’t yet seen trump do something as stupid as using taxpayer monies meant for modernising the navy into rebuilding his summer palace.
In the last days of Chu, they also renounced any attempt to claim hegemony.

It did not save them.

China has no reason nor gain from retracting their own bid just because US did it, if anything, it just strengthens it.

Trump is the perfect example of why you don’t need intelligence or education to become a billionaire in the US, just the right connections, with such an unnatural obsession with tariffs.

It’s honestly staggering how he made so much money without understanding even the most basic economic principles.

He genuinely believes the US is doing the world a favor by buying their tangible goods with intangible money, rather than exchanging an equivalent amount of US-made products.

But what he fails to realize is that the world is actually doing the US a favor, handing over real goods that America can use to generate economic activity, in exchange for essentially nothing but a virtual currency.

Whereas countries could've used that to trade with one another for real goods first, and generate that economic activity themselves, without first needing to sell it to the US for useless dollars and waste so much value.

And that currency? It eventually has to be recycled into US assets, which can be seized at any time.

Since the US barely produces anything anymore, the only way it can sustain its economy is by bringing in goods from other countries. Yet, Trump thinks the world is ripping off America when in reality, it’s the other way around.

For example, he probably looks down on Canada and Mexico, but they have much stronger and healthier economies than the US.

Now, with digital currencies and superior modern fintech, the global reliance on the US dollar is becoming obsolete. Countries can just trade in their own currencies, preserving their surplus value instead of having it siphoned off by the US.

And ironically, Trump is giving them every reason to speed up that transition and replace the current chaotic decelerated global economic and political system with something much better next.
He sees everything from a B2B perspective - I give you great volume, yet you buy jack all from me. You are getting my money (money is a limited resource because I don't create it), yet you are giving me a pittance in exchange

Canada and Mexico are finished. Serves them right for being US lackeys lol

That's not necessarily the case, like Ukraine vs. Russia. If both are determined to fight to the end, sure, the one with the bigger numbers will win. However, even in that case the weaker parties can still fight on for a long time and cause significant damage, especially if there's outside support. Then there are situations like Afghanistan or Vietnam, where the stronger party simply isn't as determined as the weaker party and would sooner declare "victory" and withdraw.

The issue with Trump is that he didn't spend enough time and effort to build his case. Even emperors in dynastic China needed to have a reason and make a case to take drastic actions like demoting a high level official. The US has spent decades building the case against China, but there's been almost no effort to build the case against Mexico and Canada. At least half of the US is unconvinced, and Canadians and Mexicans are even more blindsided. This weakens the resolve within, and toughens the resolve without.
