I had to burst out laughing to one of the comments in here that praised superior Indian engineers for creating DeepSeek. These days you never tell if it’s a joke or delusion. Before you never heard of Indians seriously in the AI game. Now as usual they insert themselves as a player up there with the elites. More claiming that they have advantages over China yet they have nothing to show for it as a result.

Well, they now they have a blueprint, but the issue with some Indians, especially those who are in US is that they are assimilating ALL the bad aspects of US tech culture, with some many of then due immigration, it could be an issue in India.
