We are on the verge of true AGI, I mean like Skynet but 100x better... it will be fully automated society! Even the new digital Yuan is now Programmatic with its own API!

This is what all of the paragraphs you've written are predicated on, this right here.

You want to radically limit the number of Chinese people, make them as small as a mid-sized European country, because you are 100% sure that AGI will make us all gods.

This is insanity. I really don't want to be rude and don't have any malintent towards you but if you were a policymaker in China I would be calling for a revolution! How you can bet so much, an entire nations future, the Chinese nations future, on a dream technology?

You are the only one saying that AGI is 100% assured to be right around the corner. No one puts all their eggs in one basket, especially when the basket is filled with holes that are never patched up. This belief that AGI must be right around the corner is bordering on religious zealotry. I too think we are close, not as close as you think, but close enough to possibly be there in our lifetimes. I STILL wouldn't risk China's existence on this bet.

I don't even know why you care about Chinese overpopulation if you think AGI is right around the corner. The moment we have AGI we'll have the Singularity right after, with nano-manufacturing, atomic replication, etc. available to all. The carrying capacity of the Solar System would become 1 Quintillion by then or something silly. We'd be engineering entire planets for shits and giggles.

The BCI is feeling the heat as H&M and Nike are suffering from reduced sales.
It will be an expensive lesson for them given by the Chinese consumers.

"Beyond the Mountains: Life in Xinjiang," the 80-minute documentary, is told through a collection of individual stories that, together, chronicle the process of change in the region. It's also about breaking stereotypes and clearing up misconceptions for people in and outside the region. The film features the magnificent landscape of this vast land, as well as the modern-day life of its people from different ethnic groups. It contains four parts: "Changing times," "Following the money," "New generations" and "Man and nature," presenting multiple facets of today's Xinjiang and its people.

The trial over George Floyd killing hasn't even reached verdict yet and two other incidents have already occurred in the last couple days
Plus, seems like a "mass shooting" event happening every week now...

America is going down the tubes fast
When resources available to a society decreases, conflict in that society increases as different groups fight over the dwindling resources. The opposite is also true: you can reduce the conflict in a society by acquiring more resources (weather by conquest, trade, technological advancement etc)

Structural problems in a society causes conflict, such conflict can be covered up for a time if the society acquires more resources, but although covered up the structural problems remain and can re-emerge at a later time unless it's fixed for good.

The west continues to believe that they could fan up conflict between ethnic groups in China because this is a structural problem they themselves have not resolved in their own country. Unfortunately for them this problem has been resolved (at last among the majority han ethnicity, but also to a lesser degree to all 56 ethnicities) by Qin Shi Huang over 2200 years ago, admittedly he had to spill a lot of blood to complete this process.

You see how CPC is doing things like teaching Uyghurs Chinese and getting HKPF to march PLA style? That's the exact same solution to the same problem that Qin Shi Huang faced.

The LoongArch of Karma

Slavery will soon come back to bite US hard as the faultlines fatally fracture the social structure of America irrepairably apart... when the petrodollar finally bites the dust the race roits will split America into balkanized chaos as the China decoupling means hyperinflation back in the American homeland

Agreed, screw the US. The only thing they are good at, is on hot air and nice PR. China doesnt care about the US. China should present its commitments to the UN.

The US can come back to the table when it credibly presents plans for combating climate change = Federal legislation

And if (big IF) Biden somehow could manage to make a big commitment ... it will be cancelled by the next Republican president (trump like) in 2025 anyway ... so nobody will have confidence what the US say

The 观棋有语 gang predicts possible open war by middle of May, once all the mud dries up.

All signs point to the phone call between Putin and Biden not having gone well, given all the sanctions yesterday. I think the victor in a Ukraine vs Russia shooting war is a foregone conclusion, so it's must a matter of weather NATO/US will get involved. At its peak US could easily conduct a two front war as it did in WW2. But today? 5.9 trillion dollars in the hole already in 2021 alone? Who can tell.

Suppose the US gets involved the question is to what degree should China make use of this opportunity. I personally think forceful reunification should happen in that situation.
