No, free speech in the US simply doesn't matter to them and they can't bring themselves to care about american rights and freedom. These are not their people after all. All they need from the US is the market and the profits that come with it. There is a non-zero chance this was done with chinese approval BTW.

I think the us empire is trying to resurrect. It will look inwards and regional before trying to take the world again. China thinking it won would just be a false sense of security and produce incompetency.
I don’t know if calls for revolution are banned on TikTok now but it would be hilarious if TikTok agreed to censor Palestine and #freeluigi but then give voice to those talking about TikTok censorship of Palestine and #freeluigi and boosting calls for socialist revolution.

The point i am making is US effectiveness comes with its alliance with Arabs but often Arabs not advertize things as they have to maintain that Soft Power image.
Real is always a relative term, the 900,000 votes is about nothing compared to a social democrat party ruling many European countries. All of them are only the outcome of a REAL socialist movement in their past. We can disagree with the word usage, but what I meant by real is vastly different from Eugene Debs "movement". I meant Germany in the late 1800s to before Nazi took over, Spanish Civil War, French revolution, Paris commune, Russian revolution, China from 1920s and many other countries where the movement meant years of violence and civil war and the looser ended up executed in tens of thousands.
By the time someone joined the congress election as Eugene Debs, one is "left" only by historical connection, itself is NOT in a socialist movement anymore but part of a system one once tried to overthrow.
