This ban will backfire on Jews hard... Israel done screwed up now

And the 9-0 scotus decisions proves who is really in control of America

And should serve to disillusion Chinese Americans who thought the dark history of Japanese American internment camps or Chinese Exclusion Act would never repeat itself again

Hegemony always Trumps the Law

In Times of War, the Laws Fall silent

USA has been at war 96% of its entire history

I've already seen Israeli Hasbara guys and dancing girls on XHS now.

Aren’t they getting booed for the most part?

Another thing I noticed while scrolling XHS is that there are so many perverted guys on there. The key difference dis that they are more discreet with their lewdness. Instead of “show me your bobs” they say stuff like “I’d love to engage in deep exchanges in English language wit you” and instead of “bitch lasagna” they say “I fantasize about becoming the guitar your plucking”.

Majority owner of Tiktok are mostly American anyway so there is no need to sell. From what I'm seeing it is disingenuous of Trump to claim the savior when he is the one who initiated the ban in the first place.

TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, was founded by Chinese entrepreneurs. ByteDance is a privately-held global company, roughly 60 percent owned by global institutional investors (such as Blackrock, General Atlantic, and Susquehanna International Group), 20 percent owned by the company’s founders, and 20 percent owned by its employees—including over 7,000 U.S.-based employees. It is not owned or controlled by any government or state-controlled entity.
Doesn't work that way, companies have different share classes and ownership is determined by corporate by-law, board of directors, number of voting shares and the national laws it operates under, non-voting shares from investors doesn't really matter for real ownership.

At end of the day Beijing has golden shares with veto power, which means true ownership is decided at government level, not corporate, and Beijing has already spoken.

It really doesn't matter anymore, the fact that western E-thots are joining a Chinese social media platform without compensation to seek validation from people that barely know English already says everything. I have never seen western E-thots join other non-American social media platforms en masse before.

If this doesn’t motivate the Indians to pour all they have into developing a killer app, nothing will.

I mean the US has gone from sell Tiktok, to forming 50-50 JV now. It's clear China has a the upper hand, Trump also has political pressure now since Americans want Tiktok back and he promised to save Tiktok before. Trump wants a deal, I think China can give him a face saving deal.
Yeah going from wanting TikTok global, to just wanting TikTok US, to now only wanting 50% of TikTok is just embarrassing.
I can see ByteDance throw them a bone and let them buy more non-voting shares in TikTok-US to save face.

Besides why would China not want to have sole influence over a global social media platform? Its either have influence over Americans, or have more influence over the world, another classic China win-win situation.
