so you linked a picture of the Mig-29 to where Russian football league will play in the offseason. OK.

@GOODTREE now you understand.
Football clubs going to Arab countries.
MIG-29 upgrade is for Arabs thats why it need to be parked inside so the condition is new. when you sell some thing better have upgrades for next couple of decades and MIG-35 looks like MIG-29M. it is much easy to hide tech, weopons and numbers.

That's why China is fighting them on this, short of military intervention we can't absolutely prevent US from censoring tiktok, but we can make it hurt their reputation so much that US gets deterred every time they consider it.

TikTok being ban in the United State can also be seen as a win for China. 150 million American will inch closer to believing their government is corrupt and they also live under authoritarian/oligarch rule. There are now 2 billion Tik Tok users in the world, Americans not creating content on the platform means US loses soft power exposure. If i was bytedance/china, i would auto repost some of the good douyin content over to tiktok to push Chinese softpower.

he said Soviet union used to display planes ahead of time before they actually matured. Now from one flight it is difficult to judge its generation.
I don't think he is the only Westerner who confuses China with USSR. On the other hand, if it's so difficult to judge the performance with a few flights, why the word "Trash" flashing so predominantly on the screen? The person who made the clip is just catering for those who want to see China to fail.

Exactly who takes Michael Pettis seriously? A thread:

I'm actually shocked so many Europeans are saying 5% military spending is good if it's not spent on US weapons.
And not economic suicide.
Maybe they think 5% is a nice round number, like Trump?

This is only a privilege for petrostates.

I don't even know why western europe would remain in NATO. Let the warmongering eastern state remain since they would be the first to get hit if anything happen. They have more of an reason to hold up the defense and fight to the last.

"Germany's far-right AfD nominated co-leader Alice Weidel as their chancellor candidate on Saturday (January 11) at a party congress in the eastern German city of Riesa.

The party meeting was streamed live on Elon Musk's platform X.

In Weidel's speech at the party congress, she vowed to close borders, end the energy transition and abandon EU climate policy, called for longer operating times for coal-fired power plants and the reopening of Nordstream.

The AfD comes second at 21.5% in a recent INSA poll ahead of the February 23 general election, with the CDU in the lead."

Waiting for ByteDance VPN - Access TikTok, Anytime, Anywhere!

1. Very good point. TikTok should go global and stay global, and be reliable for the global audience. The VPN is the best way to do it.

2. There is no way this TikTok sale will happen to US interests. The damn lying Liberal is playing with words. What this is, it is extortion, or blackmail. Nothing more nothing less.

3. Are all Chinese companies targets for extortion now? The United States has passed the Rubicon, with this TikTok attempt and seizing Russian money. They will annex parts of Syria, or take their oil.

4. The rules based order, whatever it was, that is a bad joke now. It just does not exist anymore.

Translation: Ono is a piece of shit, a lackey of the US government
Translation: Trump hasn't even come to power yet, but the school board and its lackey Ono have already surrendered and are begging for mercy, not even pretending to care about students. Just look at their behavior towards the unions and the support for the Palestinian movement, and you'll see that students are just stepping stones to their political and financial ladder.

I like the comments from Mr. Song, calling them out for being the running dogs that they are.

But the translation does not have that term translated.

What gives!?

:p:oops:

This is only a privilege for petrostates.

Poland is planning to spend 4.7% of its GDP on defense this year, so jumping to 5% in a few years, or even next year, wouldn't be insurmountable for them.

However, just because the Poles are willing to advocate for 5% of GDP as the NATO wide defense spending target doesn't mean they or any other members of NATO expects such an increase to actually occur.

Odds are NATO's European members will agree to a deal where defense spending is increased gradually by a fraction of a percent annually, but most of them will then proceed to drag their feet with regard to implementation until they're able to renegotiate with Trump's successor.
