So a reverse of the Ukraine situation that required more manpower as opposed to more weapons where’s now they need more supply compared to manpower. As brutal as this would sound, this situation could’ve been solved if they planned properly and not let the state run wild without any heed for the consequences. Had they build up water stocks and managed supply properly and even try to impose proper laws and guide lines to prevent such a crisis, things might not have gotten so bad.
it’s not China that this nation should worry about, Mother Nature seems to be out to get them and no amount of soldiers is going to solve that one

It’s been hilarious watching Trump squeeze Canada and the EU. They burned bridges with the big consumer markets of China and Russia (even more so Canada with India) and now they have little recourse because they bet the farm its relationship with the USA.
They trapped themselves b/c they acted like the HR Karens of the world. Acting high and mighty, complaining, preaching and preening themselves about their so-called “ethics” and “higher status.” All while having neither the industry, finances or expertise to keep up. Instead they believed they could be the regulator in chief and use its bureaucracy to dictate the global policy by setting international standards (i.e. ESG, DEI and human rights) while entirely relying upon the US to dictate foreign and economic policy, military and energy security, internet and media platforms and exports/foreign consumption.
Well, Biden is now out and they’re right for the reaping. Nixon was right, being America’s friend is fatal.
I have more respect for Indians b/c at least they have the excuse of poverty and cultural backwardness holding them back instead of arrogance and complacency
