Indian Air Chief calling for increased funding to the private Indian MIC. Because that would definitely fix the problems.
Yes very stupid idea-as one commentator on YT said,"more money available, more money to loot" and"I never understood why india never withstood and always succumbed to waves of invaders-now I know" On that note-the J36/J50 and later, hopefully H20 is a tremendous sea change development in geopolitics, military balance/dynamics(1906 Dreadnought moment? BUT why are indians so upset about it?it's not their concern in any way-but they're totally unhinged about it-just plain deranged, delusional jealousy??

Iran ready for nuclear talks within framework of JCPOA: Deputy foreign minister

Iran is prepared to negotiate with Western powers within the framework of a nuclear deal it signed in 2015 to lift the economic sanctions imposed on the country over its nuclear program, says Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi.

Takht-Ravanchi, a former envoy to the United Nations, made the remarks in an interview with the Italian magazine Affari Internazionali and the radio station Radicale, outlining Iran’s position regarding the now-stalled nuclear talks with European powers. Those talks are expected to resume before US President-elect Donald Trump returns to the White House in less than two weeks.

He emphasized that any negotiations will be conducted within the framework of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), which the United States unilaterally abandoned under Trump in 2018, leaving its fate in limbo to this day.

Iran ready for nuclear talks "based on dignity": spokesman

TEHRAN, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said on Monday that the country is ready for negotiations "based on honor and dignity" to address concerns about its nuclear program and lift sanctions.

He made the remarks at a weekly press conference in Tehran, in reply to a question about the likelihood of negotiations between Iran and the United States.

Baghaei said Iran always believes in dialogue, stressing that Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi had explicitly declared the country's latest position that "we are ready for dignity and honor-based negotiations on lifting sanctions and removing concerns about the nature of Iran's nuclear program."

And I thought EU was the biggest cuck these days, I was wrong.

It's interesting because around the time when China was importing J-11 there were voices in PLAAF saying Flanker is so much better than the then in development J-10 and the project should be dropped and the funds made available to buy more J-11. It went all the way to the top to Jiang Zemin who was very supportive of J-10 program because he understood the need to nurture domestic aircraft R&D to pave the way for future aircraft. He apparently smashed a teacup in front of PLAAF people and yelled at them telling them he doesn't want to hear from them again asking to cancel J-10.

While certainly the correct decision in retrospect as the experience gained by CAC eventually lead to the J-20 and J-36 today, Elder was taking on risk by supporting J-10, not only placing trust in CAC's ability to deliver but also it meant China had to take geopolitical threats on the chin in the meanwhile to not spark off any wars while they PLA was in a relatively weak state. Hence Yinhe incident, bombing of Belgrade embassy in 1999 and Hainan EP-3 incident in 2001.

Now that something similar is playing out in India I'm wondering if the decision to stick with Tejas is correct and could J-10 ended up going the same way if CAC was like HAL.
