This is one of the books Luigi Mangioni was apparently obsessed with. It was written twenty years ago. The author claims that the US went around the world to developing countries and encouraged them to take high end loans as aid so that US businesses can make a lot of money because one of the conditions was they had spend the loans on American businesses and to exert influence especially after they couldn’t pay back the loans… Sound familiar? See the US was doing debt traps before China. And this guy claims the US assassinated some foreign leaders who didn’t go along. Like I’ve said before… whatever the US accuses China of doing, the US has been already doing it.

That’s a stipulation of getting aid from the US. You can only buy US. The US is actually laundering handing out free money to US corporations, aka corruption, in the guise of aid. If the country getting the loan doesn’t pay back the loan, it’s not like the corporations have to give back the money. It’s free money to the rich no matter what paid for by the US taxpayer.

There's a good reason China never did the same type of debt traps. Messing with the survival of the fittest isn't smart. Okay sure when it's human lives on the line, we want as many to survive as possible. But corporations aren't humans. Let the shitty ones die, don't feed zombies.

I think the reason China became so globally dominant economically and with firms is because the Chinese government fights strongly for its firms to get fair treatment - but going nothing further than fair. So the ones that aren't good naturally fall off and new ones take their place.

The person, who was over 65 and reportedly had underlying medical conditions, was hospitalized with the flu after exposure to a backyard flock of birds and to wild birds.
