I think Arabs don't rule the world because:
1. Despite all the oil wealth they have, they are small and have much less money collectively than large economies like China, EU and the US, even adding all Arab economies together.
2. They don't even rule their own countries. They're getting killed by Israelis and they can't do anything about it. Saudi Arabia says something to piss the US off and the US goes, "Hmmm, looks like there might be some human right violations in your country and somebody might end up getting Saddamed..." And MBS immediately falls back into place behind the US dollar.
3. They don't innovate technology. Money and oil are only some kind of power when there is peace and civility; when there is war, the only thing that matters is technology and weapons; Arabs have nothing. They can be robbed by basically any advanced country because they cannot manufacture or control the tech to defend themselves with. Everything they bought from the US/EU has shut off buttons; they are scrap metal at the touch of a button. Arabs control nothing; they don't even control the weapons they bought sitting on their own land. Therefore, if there was war, they would not even control their own oil. It's pathetic.

No, I didn't say that everything doesn't revolve around Arabs. I said that NOTHING revolves around Arabs. Even things in Arabic places don't revolve around Arabs; they revolve around the global power dynamic amongst China/Russia and the West. Arabs have no technology and therefore no military power and no true hard power. They do not have the gravity to be revolved around; Arabs revolve around others.
