Russian-made Syrian air defense systems shot down some of the cruise missiles that Israeli F-16 fighters launched at the facilities of a research center in the city of Masyaf. This was reported to RBC by the press service of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria, citing deputy head Oleg Egorov.
According to him, on August 25, from 19:16 to 19:30, four Israeli tactical fighter jets struck the scientific center’s facilities from the eastern Mediterranean Sea with
four cruise missiles and 16 guided bombs.
