"Although he may not have a cabinet-appointed position, Musk will have a broad portfolio in the new administration for as long as his relations with Trump remain positive. This gives Musk extraordinary power over a number of areas, including spaceflight. Already this week, he has been soliciting ideas and input from colleagues. The New York Times reported that Musk has advised Trump to hire key employees from SpaceX into his administration, including at the Department of Defense. This reflects the huge conflict of interest that Musk will face when it comes to space policy. His actions could significantly benefit SpaceX, of which he is the majority owner and has the final say in major decisions."
Except Musk does not need to buy his way into getting government support for SpaceX. He basically has no competition. At least not yet.

You are not thinking big enough. It’s not about winning contracts, it’s about changing the actual rules and laws of the country to legally enshrine his dominant position.

The most direct and obvious play is that he could conceivably ‘privatise’ NASA, or at least the profitable and indispensable parts of it, and write the terms of sale in such a way, for national security purposes if anyone asks, that only SpaceX can win the bids. In which case he can bid cents on the dollar and still win, gobbling up untold billions of government assets for mere millions, and can charge what he wants for anything the US needs space for. Welcome to peak western capitalism of state capture.

The future will be AMAZING!

• Forgotten communities will be hives of industry producing goods no longer imported from China!

• Cost of Living- Major initiative lowering cost of living, focus on lowering the cost of a new car & building beautiful single family homes.

• Congress to support baby bonuses! For young parents to help launch a BABY BOOM!
