Looks like Israel have killed Sinwar, the leader of Hamas.

Good for short-term theatrics but it doesn't change the situation on the battlefield.

It was the same with killing of Nasrallah.

Hezbollah regrouped and has killed and injured more IDF soldiers than the other way around ever since invasion started

Sales to China is doing fine, it's the rest of the West that stopped buying.

They have very good insight into the progress of China's space program, there's a little known department inside the Pentagon that briefs NASA on the space capabilities of adversaries (they knew a lot about Soviet's N1-L3 architecture for example). At this point they don't doubt China can do the mission by 2028-2030:

The "discussions" Nelson is referring to is what happens next after both nations establish basecamps there. The lunar south pole is not a big place and there are few safe landing spots and 'places of interest'. I heard on a podcast with US space officials a few years ago that if both nations arrive at the same time (China a year or two before US or vice versa) then there will have to be serious negotiations. But if one side does it first and the other side experiences significant delays that would be a real problem due to first mover advantage. So make no mistake there is a race right now. It's really about what capabilities can be reliably delivered at this point.
Bill Nelson accuses China of not being transparent.

This is like how Ancient Rome never got into the Industrial Revolution because it was too convenient to use slaves. Likewise, the Anglo led west will never advance in the 4th Industrial Revolution so long as they depend on employing Indians.
Despite the joke, I believe that Rome can be characterized as a pre-industrial society. Entering the Middle Ages proves that a society can regress. But regarding Musk, it's incredible that he manages to form a legion of idiots who follow him blindly, he's inventing all kinds of hype by lying.

I was watching Jimmy Kimmel last night. For those who don’t know, he’s a talk show host that Trump hates. So a campaign commercial comes on and shows pictures of dead babies from abortions. At the end of the commercial there’s a title card that shows saying by law because it’s a campaign commercial they had to show it. First time ever seeing anything like that.

Because their leaders are suicidal US cucks. They made an even bigger blunder before by sanctioning Russian energy and siding with Ukraine in the Ukraine War. These are not reasonable or smart people.

Because the CPC knows that EU tariffs on Chinese EVs will hurt the EU much more than China in the longer term. EU automotive companies will become less competitive in EV and it'll only drive the price of EVs higher for the EU consumer.

Setting a tariff on brandy was meant mostly as symbolic retaliation. To show China's displeasure, but also limit unnecessary escalation of the trade war. As Napoleon once said: "Don't interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake".

Low confidence in the Chinese market by the Chinese people? Based on what data? Bloomberg, SCMP, BBC, or Peter Z? If you're still believing their crap without question, then you're not fit to judge China.

China has the largest GDP by PPP in the world. Money goes much further there than in places like the US and the EU. Just because consumer spending is not as sky high as in the inflation-ridden West doesn't mean that consumer confidence is low. Chinese products are sold much cheaper in China than overseas. Chinese citizens get to enjoy better standards of living while paying less. So the Chinese economy, despite it's problems, is still in a much better place than the EU economy. If you think that the CPC sucks for not doing better, then ask yourself, how well does your local leaders compare to them? Are they doing a wonderful job with your economy?

You have a pattern of shitting on China for supposedly not screwing the West or Israel enough to your liking. Have you been to China? Do you even understand how the Chinese government and society works? Why do you put such immature expectations on China?
Game theory demonstrates that equivalent tit-for-tat is optimal for an unknown number of iterated rounds. The math does not lie. In fact I think the CPC can be more creative with really hurting policy makers. Consider if they sanctioned Baerbock just like how they did Pompeo right before her visit.

Things are not all peachy in China right now, I literally visit every single summer. I have extended family who are highly educated but cannot find jobs, gainfully employed but struggling to buy houses, had their businesses close down, even forced to move out of cities. You know what the common trend is? They're putting life goals and milestones off till later and saving money instead. You tell me if a sample size of >30 from all stratas of life doing this is indicative of confidence in the market.
