its not an expat school, its a private school teaching foreign curriculum so the students from there can go to foreign universities. They do not meet the eligibility requirements to take gaokao.

it is easy to see why he would be upset tbh. His life, though physically in China, is spiritually in the west. His kids attend a western school that is barred from gaokao. He has, against their will, put them on a path towards only being able to go to school in foreign countries.

His salary is paid by white finance bros. His interests lie in exploiting the Chinese people and the infrastructure, environment and institutions that Chinese people have built. In fact he is even worse than the white finance bros. For them, exploiting China is just business. When they can't do it anymore, they talk some shit then leave. For him, getting a pay cut is like losing his parents, it is a personal affront. His parents aren't the ones paying him 500k RMB per year.
Pakistan has tons of these schools. I went to one. Actually, this is the only choice for most middle/upper income class folk because the government schools are totally shit. I'm guessing it's similar to this Chinese private school. By the time you graduate, you are a Westerner who looks down on the locals. Should one at this time choose not to migrate to the West, they form a bubble within the local society just for themselves; kind of like a social apartheid, where everyone outside the bubble is inferior. Clever way to imbue Western culture into and enslave the local society. In Pakistan, these schools are often funded by foreign governments, especially the British and American. K-12 indoctrination, teaching students why West is the best and why you are inferior.

TikTok deletes Sputnik accounts

Video-sharing platform TikTok has deleted the accounts of several branches of Sputnik media network. The crackdown came days after the US announced new sanctions targeting several Russian outlets, including RT.

On Saturday morning, the accounts of Sputnik Serbia, Sputnik Afrique, Sputnik Africa, Sputnik International, Sputnik Brasil, Sputnik Mundo and Sputnik Indonesia became inaccessible. TikTok has not yet commented on the development.

Sputnik Serbia has shared an image showing a query saying it could not find the account, adding that its page has also been blocked on Facebook, but remains operational on X.

Tiktok, a Chinese company is being more anti-Russian than an American company like X. actually it's probably exactly because they are a Chinese company that they feel they have to suck up to the US establishment harder than US companies themselves and serve the American empire for the sake of few more billions of $. these are the kinds of billionaires who are willing to sell their mothers for one extra dollar in their pocket.

The difference here is that in China the public schools are arguably better based on PISA results, and it is very hard for these students to switch back to the Chinese track if they don't go abroad. They must make the choice by high school and it is irreversible without retaking some years of high school. And even if they go abroad, most end up back but without the social connections and that you make in a Chinese university. I don't blame them though. They didn't put themselves there.

You listen to modern day western “race realists” and they’re really no different to zionists, albeit having some factions advocating for white separatism and other advocating for white supremacy and enslaving all other races. The latter attitude is particularly common amongst Australian neonazis and racists who have built their entire national image around a fear of “being swamped by Asians” and fear a loss of white privilege.
That's why you turn them and the Zionists on eachother. Never fails to make me smile.

are the Israelis crazy enough to attach Chinese peacekeepers? Or did the Americans think they could get China into the quagmire of the Middle East when the Middle East is supposed to be an Anglo quagmire
Doesn't look like there's other buildings in the vicinity. I'd bet they accidentally thought the camp was a target and veered last second when they realized they nearly fucked their whole country...

This and Trump shooting is like a few more seconds difference and world history would change significantly. Crazy stuff.

Would be interesting to see PLA finally in a land war, and vs internationally acceptable targets they can go all out against as well. They have so much new tech but are just sitting on it, instead of expanding China's sphere of control. Probably waiting for Huludao facilities to start among others.

The Samsung worker strike in India continues.

The Samsung factory in question appears to be the one of the smaller ones in Tamil Nadu, not their flagship factory in Uttar Pradesh. The striking workers are comparing the difference in wages between Samsung SK and Samsung India. Something like $5,358 in SK vs $238 in India. Well as bad as we are supposed to feel for them, Indian workers are notorious for regular strikes and demands.

As for Samsung. Enjoy this. You came for "Make In India", and this is also part of the deal. If you think that this will improve overtime, you can keep waiting. The authorities are coming next with their auditors and arbitrary fines. In the meantime, learn to Jugaad!

Video of the incident.

The bombs impacted 700m away from the Chinese peacekeepers' barrack. There appears to be some fragmentation and shockwave damage. But no reports of casualties yet. The IDF is definitely aware of the presence of that Chinese peacekeepers' barrack. They are very aware of everything going on in their own neighbourhood. So this does appear to be a kind of demonstrative warning shot.

2 of the top 5 Universities are from Peking and Tsinghua (China's premiere universities) won Gold at the recently held International Collegiate Programming Contest that took place for the first time in the central Asian state of Kazakhstan.

There were more than 3,000 competing universities from around the world, including the usual top western schools (Harvard, MIT, Oxford, Cambridge) that vied for the top spots.

Kinda funny because the whole mess started because they're not very aware of things going on in their backyard, to say nothing about neighbourhood.

I think honestly something like weather conditions, poor command and control etc. can all cause a plane to see some sort of massive compound and believe it is a target, only to later realize it's something they absolutely should not touch and then veer away. Especially as it seems China has quite a few installations in Lebanon.

The funniest thing that will come out of this is American nationalists coming out of the woodwork to say how a strike on empty ground is such a display of might, sign of superiority etc. And then Iran does the same and suddenly it's the opposite.

Also quite possible that IDF has to wire a bank transfer for a bunch of dinner plates to PLA. Bet that will be one of the stranger transactions in history.

Inb4 some Israel government rep shows up and insists replacing the lost plates with "homemade traditional Israeli tupperware" and the bottoms are all 5x as thick as normal plates lmfao

Then the Chinese companies can also go around it by forming shell companies and JVs. The brand and flag of the product can always be changed to suit the market. If America wants to tariff that too, it'll become a bureaucratic nightmare. All this while America's own industries continues to grow weaker from all that protectionism. So keeping Chinese goods out of America way easier said than done.
They call it "Epsteining" the money trail
