They won’t, they have the memory of a gold fish.
In Malaysia, a bunch of sinkholes are popping up around Kuala Lumpur. One of them tragically swallowed up an Indian tourist last week. Her body have not been found till this day. If anyone is travelling to Kuala Lumpur, its best to avoid the area called Masjid Jamek.

This was the footage of the first sinkhole that swallowed up an Indian tourist. Its a horrible way to go.

The reason this is happening, I believe is decades of under-maintenance of the sewage system, lack of concern for sinkhole formations by the govt, and the recent series of heavy rains.
Now that is some seriously scary shit. Wouldn’t wish for such fate on an innocent of any nation to suffer such a sudden end like that. I don’t think I wish to travel to such a third world nation anytime soon. Hopefully they don’t have this in China although given China’s regulations and general care taken, I find this very unlikely

Sinkholes were a common occurrence in China when underground aquifers were getting depleted in urban centers.

Quickly is relative. Realistically it might take years for them to fully replenish their stocks, but for planning purposes China cannot assume more than 48 months. Is China prepared to start the countdown on AR just yet? Maybe, but not for the sake of anyone else

Congratulations, you now have WWIII and have very likely tripped the US’ nuclear MAD triggers. And there lies China’s primary dilemma. To fight America directly will be such a momentous undertaking that anything other than total unconditional victory isn’t worth the cost. But total victory is impossible with MAD.

The solution isn’t China’s nuclear silo fields or SSBNs, but Star Wars (SW).

The only scenario where nuclear war is tolerable is if you have SW orbital ABM defences that has a credible chance of limiting the costs to something approaching acceptable.

This is where the hidden arms race is raging without the world even realising. This is why Starlink is so important and also why China is investing so much in mass launch capabilities. Because if one side can create enough of a lead on in mass orbital launch capability over the other, then they can rush deploy SW orbital defences. From that point on, it’s game over as they can and will shoot down anything from the other side trying to get into orbit, be it their own SW platforms or ASAT or ICBMs. That’s the only feasible way any side can break the MAD dilemma, and that is for sure more than 48 months away.

Short of being within sprint distance of such a paradigm shifting capability, I just don’t see China proactively seeking direct war against the US.
SW is a fantasy and cannot do much against non ballistic targets like hypersonic gliders and cruise missiles.

Giant sinkholes are actually more common in Central China than anywhere else in the world due to unique weather in the mountain ranges. They generally have been open for thousands of years though and are not dangerous aside from scary looking.

Those ones from Malaysia look like accidentally human made though, which you won't find in China.

But yeah imagining the giant one opening up under you is insanely scary, even looking at it causes an unsettling feeling.

The quick read is that if you accept “competition” as the framework, then that necessarily constricts the cooperative space substantially

Its amazing that film like this was released by Hollywood earlier this year. I only stumbled upon this because of the anti-woke backlash that had been unleashed by recent events in the gaming industry.
tbh I don't want woke going away too soon. you have to realize the woke neolibs and the alt right are all controlled by the same group.

they are all neocons and fascists in the end.

it is all a tool of distraction and internal control. towards the outside, both have been used as a weapon, ranging from Trump denying medical aid for birth control to weaponizing the 'rainbow coalition'.

That was done by African-American filmmakers who would be the only ones that could do that.
Its still a racist film by its nature. Its funny that African-Americans hate the N-word, except when its they themselves who use it. Other diasporas don't really accept such things. Imagine Indian-American filmmakers making a film with "Pajeet" in the title. I doubt that the Indian diasporas and the Indians in India are gonna be cool with that.

That's the way how the West's victim culture works. Look at how it's all right that Israel can commit genocide. Or look at how "woke" Western game consultants think they can tell a Chinese gaming company to add in blacks, gays, and white women characters in the name of diversity when they don't accurately represent the demographics of the world.
