A few Chinese miltary questions

I have few questions
1)How does the chinese AWACS plane's radar range compare to western AESA Radar? Which has longer range?

2)When will the PLANF develope their AESA?

3)Is the chinese AWACS fully operational in all its airforce division including in south china sea area?

4)how capable are the the 054/054A 051C 052C VLS airdefence against enemy SU27 or SU30? How about the older ships like sovs, 053..?

5)Barring US, Japan involvment,would CHina achieve total air superiority in south china sea /w its combo of J-11, JF-7 and AWACS against enemy SU27 or SU30?

6)Which Chinese antiship missile has the longest range? what distance?

From what I under stand Popeye is the PLA has plenty of men who want to join because of their "prep school" temple based military programs during the youth years.

I understand if you are a good soldier you can re-inlest and the pay and living conditions are being based off the U.S BOSS program. That is better opportunities for single soldiers.

Nutrition and growth is very good in the PLA. It is well fed with good food from what I understand. Pride in ones body is also held in high regard.

Many in TRADOC would not call it a truly conscripted army anymore.

No slight to you but I only asked that question two years ago.

As I have learned from this forum the PLA grows more modern each day. I really think they need to change the way all the conscripts enter and leave the service in the same November-December time frame.

I saw the question on the newest update area. when I posted, it, took me too a different area that appeared to be another poster getting 10 lashes for posting in the wrong area. I was not sure what was going on. I look towards the upper left of the boards for the newest stuff and there your question was...strange.

CAD Mechanised Brigade ... ???

Just read an article mention "CAD Mechanised Brigade". I assume this to mean Close Air Defence. The term "mechanised" does it mean "self-propelled"? What should I expect to find in such a unit?

I asked this on the Air force board but didn't really get an answer. On the H-6, is the wire that runs along the top exterior of the airplane connecting to the tail supposed to be a radio antenna? Would it be too difficult to just remove it and use a more advanced system? You see alot of those on WWII era warplanes but not on any aircraft used today.

IMO The antenna just makes the H-6 look more antiquated.

Question on PLA Camouflage

Found this scheme on another board:

and I was wondering when exactly the PLA moved to that Green/Black/Tan scheme, as opposed to just tank green; and if any of the old soviet equipment, like ISU-152s, SU-100s, and IS-2s saw active service wearing the G/B/T scheme.

Hi Guys

I have a question about designation of the new Chinese airborn IFV; on some other sites, the IFV is called ZBD2000, while on sinodefence.com it's called ZLC2000. Their Chinese designation are both WZ506. Which one is correct?

Got a question on the shouldn't-have-went Tomcat. What is its top speed? I am always seeing "top speed: Mach 1.88, capable of 2.34". What's that suppose to mean? (Same with MiG-25.)
