It looks like the picture of the Manipur soldier getting an award got China's attention
We have never heard of Rangnamei before that 9 minute video by China was released. He was not given any awards during that period. Not even recognized by his so called country before that.
That shows 3 things:
1) Rangnamei would be nobody if it wasn't for China shaming him to the international audience.
2) India has no video evidence of its own to refute China's narrative. If India has it, Rangnamei would have been awarded ages ago. Since Indian media surely can't wait to show off any PLA-IA clash videos.
3) India gives out awards for failures. Best examples are:
a) Abhinandan. For getting shot down blind in his Mig 21 Bison, and getting caught by the Pakistani Army.
b) Santosh Babu. For leading his men into a poorly thought out military provocation of the PLA. Then getting himself, and 19 others killed. With the rest routed.
c) Soiba Maningba Rangnamei. For being the first thug to assault a PLA negotiation party. Then running away and leaving his Jawan mates behind when the battle got ugly for India.
This confirms that yet again. India is an exceptional nation. The only nation that I can think off who rewards failure like a victory. Here are the best examples:
1) Be a PM who runs India into becoming an international basket case. Get another term.
2) Chicken out on the battlefield. Get an award.
3) Report fantasy BS news. Get more views.
4) Say the dumbest things on camera. Get more airtime.
5) Get 5th place in a competition. Proud! Jai Hind!
6) Surrender 1000sqkm of land to the enemy. Jai Hind!
7) Bend to the enemy's will. Jai Hind!
8) Miss out multiple Superpower India goals. Jai Hind!
9) Getting lagged behind in Asia. Jai Hind!
10) Multi-decade defence program that produces failures (Tejas, and Arjun program). Get orders from the Indian military.
Long may this continue! Jai Hind!
