Battlefield is not the place to judge moral values. You underestimate and miscalculate at your own peril.

This is not first time Indian soldiers attacked frontline negotiator, and they are rewarding this behavior. Why didn't you learn? Next time are you going to send a high ranking officer like this again? If this is the protocol, who agreed to this protocol?

You can say they are barbaric and uncivilized, those are moral terms. Those who think India would launch a 1962 style attack if China release factual information about what happened earlier are stupid. Stupidity is not a moral term. They are not THAT stupid. Keeping underestimating is your own stupidity.

For China's vast land army, this is the only active conflict. If this is not your priority, then what is? Against Noth Korea, Afghanistan, or land attack against Taiwan?

What a joke.
At first I figured this dude for an Indian pretending to be Chinese, now Im not so sure, maybe a HK/TW-ner or worse, low level CIA analyst troll that has too much time on his hands, frustrated with the way his nation is headed, and in his small way contributing by venting steam whilst attempting to inflame emotions on both the Chinese side and Indian side, since there is nothing America wants more right now than Asia nations bickering and fighting amongst and within themselves whilst US once again takes full advantage of rifts that it designed and boobytrapped. If Amerikkka can get Tiawan island to deprive China of the new oil (processor chips) whilst using Tiawan (TSMC) to help shore up US own semiconductor failings to build a non-Chinese tech supply chain imagine whats going on behind the scenes and you'll realize America promised Modi the moon and Mars to get India on the anti-China camp but like the American approachment with China back in the 70s, US will eventually betray and backstab and throw under the bus India as well, just like it has done with all its allies (vassals) and every single treaty its ever signed, every promise its ever made... Thats the supreme irony of it all...

It looks like the picture of the Manipur soldier getting an award got China's attention

We have never heard of Rangnamei before that 9 minute video by China was released. He was not given any awards during that period. Not even recognized by his so called country before that.

That shows 3 things:
1) Rangnamei would be nobody if it wasn't for China shaming him to the international audience.
2) India has no video evidence of its own to refute China's narrative. If India has it, Rangnamei would have been awarded ages ago. Since Indian media surely can't wait to show off any PLA-IA clash videos.
3) India gives out awards for failures. Best examples are:
a) Abhinandan. For getting shot down blind in his Mig 21 Bison, and getting caught by the Pakistani Army.
b) Santosh Babu. For leading his men into a poorly thought out military provocation of the PLA. Then getting himself, and 19 others killed. With the rest routed.
c) Soiba Maningba Rangnamei. For being the first thug to assault a PLA negotiation party. Then running away and leaving his Jawan mates behind when the battle got ugly for India.

This confirms that yet again. India is an exceptional nation. The only nation that I can think off who rewards failure like a victory. Here are the best examples:

1) Be a PM who runs India into becoming an international basket case. Get another term.
2) Chicken out on the battlefield. Get an award.
3) Report fantasy BS news. Get more views.
4) Say the dumbest things on camera. Get more airtime.
5) Get 5th place in a competition. Proud! Jai Hind!
6) Surrender 1000sqkm of land to the enemy. Jai Hind!
7) Bend to the enemy's will. Jai Hind!
8) Miss out multiple Superpower India goals. Jai Hind!
9) Getting lagged behind in Asia. Jai Hind!
10) Multi-decade defence program that produces failures (Tejas, and Arjun program). Get orders from the Indian military.

Long may this continue! Jai Hind!

When was the last time a Chinese negotiation team was ambushed?

"Land army" doesn't operate alone. If it becomes a truly heated conflict, the battle will include the air force and even the navy if it becomes large enough to require overwhelming the enemy on multiple fronts. If all 3 branches are tied (or even moved) to beating down India, that opens opportunities for for more competent rivals in China's east the the SCS.

This is why people with strategy make the decisions in China, not people who are just angry shouting "show your big dick" (Post#9169) like you.
What a joke.
Your analysis is indeed becoming more and more of a joke as you go on.

Yes. I remember when the news first broke out that there was a lot if Indian casualties and captured soldiers. And the Indians are saying because they were out numbered. Lol. Now conclusive proof they weren't. Not in the initial stages at least. Such bravery. And then they award the captain for running away!

Ok. @twineedle

Stop beat around the bush. You have been avoiding answer this question that was asked if you more than once. So man up and answer. What's happened to your super power India 2020? Great prediction ah. As usual, all talk and no trousers.

Might not be running away... Latest rumors indicate he was captured.

Oh yea, it also show that a lot of Indians watched the video filmed by PLA.

Man, it would hilarious if PLA publish his POW profile pics or videos.

Would they rescind his award after that.

No he would be an even bigger hero because he got VIP treatment from the PLA even though he shoved Commander Qi. It shows that the PLA were completely intimidated by the sheer power of Jai Hind, just like how the Brits were intimidated into building rail infrastructure for them for free.

In case you thought I was making stuff up... I don’t do that. There is clear precedence here.

Firstly an F16 was shot down on that day, secondly it is not sure Mig 21 is shot down by aircraft or ground systems.

Third, Pakistan claimed they have 2 pilots and later changed their statements, the other person is Pakistani pilot.

Fourth, Pakistan came under pressure of missile strikes from India and released the pilot.

Before this show down, India bombed close to 300 terrorists in Balakot in a daring raid inside Pakistan.
