It seems that the chinese army is experimenting with the type 99A in the mountains.

Trash article, 99As been there since June (from LX14)

Any "experimenting" has long been completed since almost all PLA AFVs have to pass trials in the plateau region

ZTQ15 and its capabilities and role have been discussed to death already, and 99As being seen only confirms what's already been said.

That would be nice. There will be debates about whether Type 99A is suitable for mountainous warfare. But the Indian and Russian media have been making too much noise about the Type 15s getting trashed by Indian T-72s and T-90s. So the Chinese must have heard about this and hence the experiment. The Type 99A has superior power-weight performance than even the T-90MS. So it makes sense, why this full sized MBT is chosen for this experiment. Fingers crossed that the experiment goes well. I guess they are thinking of having the Type 99A there more of as an insurance. If tank vs tank combat cannot be avoided, then the Type 99As would have to be called upon to even the odds.

Its old news, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria. We have heard you talk again and again about Tejas being 'far superior' to the JF-17.

First of all, that is false. The JF-17 Block III is the actual counterpart to the Tejas Mk1A, not the older JF-17 variants. Both have their respective strengths and weaknesses. But more importantly, I'm pretty sure that the JF-17 Block IIIs would be produced and fielded much faster than the Tejas Mk1As. So, by the time enough Tejas Mk1A gets fielded, boohoo...no more 'Tejas super advantage'.

Secondly, the JF-17 is not the mainstay fighter of the PLAAF. Its the J-10, which our beloved Air Chief Marshal so conveniently left out of the conversation. The J-10 is a different animal compared to the J-17, so be careful not to get too cocky.

This is your Air Chief Marshal, India. If there would be any war with China over Ladakh, be very afraid.

Did they even integrate BVR capabilities on LCA Mark 1 (not 1A) yet?

I am sorry this is going to be off topic but needs to be said...

I know news programs nowadays has a lot of graphics and moving panels... but the Indian news seriously abuses it... it’s almost like they are treating there audience like children and jingling keys in front of them to keep their attention... What’s worst is that the graphics and moving panels actually take up more screen space then the reporting being done and distracts the viewer... it’s almost like a shopping channel trying to sell the headline rather than the content...

Is there some issue with Indian military higher ups or are they just talking BS for the sake of talking BS

If China working (colluded) with Pakistan is losing moral authority then India surely has non left to lose having to work (collude) with at least 3 other country US, Australia and Japan and is attempting to add more
He must have been rambling there with a handful of random words, as per the tradition of high-ranking officers in India.

Well if you think about... the Indian military do like their fancy alphabet soups, otherwise known as their military project acronyms... perhaps this guy is an advanced player and have moved onto scrabbles and trying out words he has recently learnt, like the word morality...
