India's lost decades under the making.
Its sad to see another Asian country slip up and fall. I've always envisioned an Asian Union. Countries truly capable of anchoring such an entity are limited, China being prime contender. But India had as much right to lead it as China. That India died.
If Canada and US could be friends despite having territory issues, then China and India could too.
What exactly had China done to India? It wasn't China which colonized and abused India for 200 years.

Et tu Brute?
No way China be Caesar. China shall be the Brute.
out of topic nitpick--
Brutus, not "Brute". Brute is vocative case of Brutus, which in Latin you use to address to someone. Vocative case with anything that ends in -us becomes -e (long e) and -ius becomes -i (long i).

Modi has a cult following amongst majority Hindus on par with a God. (not joking)
He'll be PM as long as he is alive.
For as much as I wanted to point out "personality cult is dictatorship thing", Washington D.C. on January 6th 2021 changed my mind...
How Indian defense personnel see pigeons coming from Pakistan....

Last I checked this is the 21st year of the 2nd Millennium, not the 41st Millennium...

The title says it all. Its Hindutva fever in India according to the Mood of the Nation Poll by India Today. Its a tough read. But after sifting through the thick garbage, here are some highlights:

Single Biggest Achievement of the Modi Government.jpg

These are the most celebrated achievements of the Modi Government. Just look at the top 3, LOL.! I can bet that for no. 2, no Kashmiris were ever asked. And the last one, I don't think any of the angry farmers were polled.

While dealing with the pandemic, Modi seems to have adopted what management specialist Saras D. Sarasvathy in an article for the Society for Effectual Action lists as the five key principles to deal with a crisis and achieve transformative goals. The first principle is known as the 'bird in hand'. According to it, one should start acting with whatever available information there is rather than waiting for the perfect opportunity. Witness how Modi opted for a total lockdown even as other leaders hesitated to take drastic action. Modi's advisors say he took the decision after consulting experts who warned of the pandemic's rapid spread across the country and advised that a lockdown would give the health sector time to boost capabilities to treat the disease.

Translation: Modi ji doesn't know what the heck he is doing with regarding to handling Covid-19. But no matter, Indians approve of it.

Biggest problems in India.jpg
LOL! Look at that list, its all the problems we see in India today. But there is one big problem missing. Where is China? If its not a problem, then why spend billions on war material to combat China? Why the Cold War against China?

Other experts say that after becoming prime minister, Modi has cultivated a larger-than-life image of a great leader whose popularity is no longer determined by issues. His focus on grand visions and willingness to execute big decisions, such as repealing Article 370 or ordering retaliatory air strikes in Pakistan's Balakot, which others were wary of doing, has seen him consolidate that image. He thus comes across as a man who can do no wrong and whose trespasses are forgiven.

Off course Modi can do no wrong in their eyes. If not, they'll be calling for his head after Pakistan's Operation Swift Retort. And also after losing Jawans and vast territories to China at Ladakh.

Who is the best PM in India's history.jpg
Yes, we all know that Modi ji is the greatest Indian prime minister ever. Everyone loves him. His people loves him. All the idiots of the world loves him. Even his enemies love him, because nobody can screw India up like Narendra Modi. Just don't ask the sane, the have-nots, and the oppressed in India. They are not Hindutva enough, so their views don't count.

Can Modi run for another term? Are there no term limits?

India hopefully stays with him. Lost decades in the making.
Considering that Biden vs Modi relationship is a thing under construction, China has less to be concerned about an adventurous India.

The maximum India did under Trump was the Botched strike on Pakistan and the similar botched incursion into China.

Biden knows that Modi was a big friend of Trump. Let's just hope India doesn't get any new ideas or delusions regarding its power and abilities.

There are no term limits according to Wikipedia. So based on this preliminary information. No, there are no term limits. Modi can run for PM indefinitely. India's enemies can rejoice. Just manage India's aggression once in awhile. Make sure that it doesn't blow out of proportion, but also slap India up abit to prevent dangerous overconfidence. Then sit back and watch as India slides into the coming lost decades.

I think most people outside miss the point while looking at these surveys & trying to connect them with reality.

Indians live in fantasy land where they don't like to lose. They have chosen him once. Going back would mean their choice was wrong in first place. Unemployment & covid doesn't matter here. It's matter of fake ego.

Of course Indians don’t think China is a problem... remember how the media continuous told the people that although they have some issues... the Indian army is ready and can easily destroy the PLA,

How 20 Indian soldier died but hundreds of PLA died, the PLA is just covering up because no freedom of press.
How the PLA can’t handle the height and cold, and PLA personnel is continuously being switched out and rotated.
How despite all evidence to the contrary the Indians have no problem with shelter and logistics for the additional troops in the Ladakh areas
How the DRDO had to research and devised new and improved kerosene heaters despite their forward positions being built up and have centralised heating

Now if you consider that despite the US publicly claiming that no F16 were shot down in the recent PAF v IAF skirmish, Indians still believe that the IAF did shoot down a F16 and the US is simply lying so they can keep a good record for the F16 to sell the fighter, even though there already has records of the F16 being shot down in the past...

So yea of course the Indians don’t think it’s a problem... in the Indian mind they have won already, to them they have put the PLA into the most difficult position possible and the PLA is paying an enormous price just to match the mighty Indian Army, despite the fact that the PLA is having such a hard time that they decided recently to install an arcade tent in one of its positions and that they are spending supposed much needed resources to make a one-off MRE feast for the coming year new holiday... fact and evidence is irrelevant to the Indians...
