Hi Mt1701d,This is classic... Imagine the Indians reconciling the 2 sides of, ‘we Indian superpower even US has to respect with Quad treaty’ and ‘US sanctions Indian superpower disrespecting India, such things must be punished’, and then watching the Indian heads explode trying to comprehend their fantasy-reality split...
It’s funny how the Indians seems to be thinking that they are either, clever enough to be playing both sides against the middle or influential enough to have both side court them with sweet deals... never truly realising that they are nothing more than an ATM at best to the Russians and nothing more than a pawn much less an ally to the US... this whole thing can be summed up as, a girl thinking they are so pretty and desirable that flowers and gifts will be showering them from both side when in reality she is just a cheap hooker being spit roasted whilst having to pay for the trouble...
It's not. Military might is a relative term. India's 'most powerful' does not necessarily mean its world-beating powerful. Is that sarcasm?

Hi Sardaukar20,The Sino-Pakistan Shaheen IX air exercise was just concluded. And it was quite a big exercise.
It's quite obvious, the main target of the exercise is India. The J-10C and J-11B is used to simulate Rafale and Su-30MKI. The two best fighter aircraft in the IAF.
Again, there were more joint operations and EW exercises.
But this time, they are doing large scale confrontation exercises. Clearly this exercise is not aimed at terrorists. It's definitely aimed at the big one: India.
The scope of the exercise also includes the use of paratroopers, and Chinese Naval aviation forces. Maritime scope of exercise is also included. Very suspiciously aimed at the Indian Navy. Don't know of this is a response to India's not-so-subtle threat to choke the Malacca Straits from China.
As usual. This big Shaheen IX exercise goes relatively unnoticed in the Westernand Indian media. Indian media is still busy blabbering about 'IAF advantage over PLAAF', 'Rafale>J-20', 'India's resolve against China', 'Why India should help Tibet', 'India>Pakistan', etc.
This is a blessing in disguise actually. Pakistan and China. India's two nemesis' are further improving on how to deal with one of India's most powerful military might, its Air Force. The 2019 Operation Swift Retort by the PAF was the fruit of the previous Shaheen exercises. Pakistan and China are working on the correct things: The men, strategies, tactics, and operational readiness, over just equipment. And all this while India is busy glorifying its new toys. They were shocked by the PAF in 2019 precisely because of this.
If the IAF cannot handle the PAF like what they imagine to be. What then could they achieve against the PLAAF? Or worse, both of them.
Ideally, this Shaheen IX exercise should serve as a wakeup call for IAF improvements. And also deterence against military adventurism by India against Pakistan and China. But it looks like business as usual with India. Let's see if they still dare to try another 'surgical strike' on Pakistan or China.
Hi reservior dogs,Just heard the news that Turkish mercenaries are headed to Kashmir to fight India. These folks are hardcore fighters from Syria. India will soon learn what it is like to fight with soldiers that are battle harden in Syria.
That is very unlikely. Pakistan relies on China for survival. They will not allow a foreign mercenary to screw up that relationship. Also China can do some pretty nasty things to Turkey if they do that. Turkey is fighting on so many fronts that China just have to arm their adversaries. No, it is definitely to fight India. Here is an article that talk about it.Hi reservior dogs,
If that is true, It wasn't meant for India, it's for China ( remember Xingjiang) and I think the Pakistan gov't is not foolish enough to entertain such thought and alienating it's most trusted ally. And if you do accept those mercenaries, you can't control them cause you're not their paymaster.
I am not sure it’s about being honourable... I mean honestly it’s all about benefits in the end... Russia supported India back in the day as a F U to the west, a counter to the Chinese at its (the Soviet’s) south-eastern boarder and as a market for weapons export... whilst nowadays it less as counter or F U... the market is still a pretty penny thus the support.Hi Mt1701d,
Whose more honorable the US or the Russian, many people see Russia as a villain , a product of the cold war, but you never see Russia treat its friend and allies this way. Even if the Indian bought US gears and equipment. During the heydays of the cold war up to the present Russia had always support India. Well it's a matter of association and unfortunately India choose to join with the cool kids and be accepted rather than with its trusted friend.
