"Our troops deployed at the forward posts along the Line of Actual Control are staying for longer periods at their positions than the Chinese. The harsh winters and the lack of exposure to such temperatures are forcing the Chinese to rotate their troops on a daily basis," a government source told ANI.

What!? Really!? o_O:rolleyes:

Reality looks more like this:

The PLA troops can rotate their troops because they CAN! The have the infrastructure, supplies and discipline to do so. Plus, they'll be able to acclimatize far more manpower to the harsh environment. Has the multi-benefits of keeping fatigue low, morale high, and having more available manpower when reinforcements are needed.

Indian Army won't rotate troops because it CANNOT! Poor infrastructure, supplies, and discipline. So those 'mighty' Jawans are gonna have to just tough it out. Pray and hope that their continued long exposure to the harsh environment doesn't shatter their morale or turn them into 'corpsicles' . Plus, if more fresh Jawans are needed for reinforcements, they better acclimatize quick. Jai Hind!

I don't really know. One day Indian media says they have 60k troops, other times 100k troops, then sometimes they say Indian troops matched PLA numbers. I think some people here could have a better count on the speculated troops numbers.
