According to a big shrimp on Weibo, the Indian military based their casualties estimate of Chinese forces on the number of PLA helicopter sorties in the area following the clash.
Did the "big shrimp" give any indication as to the number of casualties on the Chinese side then?

I think those are old photos from India's anti militant operation.

These were just one of the numerous links I clicked on. There were other images which showed the "shot on Leica by Huawei" watermark, which would almost guarantee authenticity that those were shot by the Chinese troops. But I'm not going to dig through a 300 page thread to find those images again.

According to this India media says Indian soldiers were ambushed by rock throwing Chinese from high ground but Indians soldiers didn't fight back. How did they kill 43 Chinese then?

That's the problem I see with the India narrative. They can't decide if it's better to be a victim or victor which could account why the casualty numbers keep changing.

Indian estimate are based on chinese communication intercepts. US intelligence one are probably based on moles within PLA or CCP leadership.

He doesn’t have any information but he considers the Indian numbers ludicrous.

Hmm then why did the Chinese causalty numbers rise almost immediately after the Indians published their numbers? A couple minutes after I saw that India announced 3 dead, I saw they said China lost 5. Then when they announced 20 dead, suddenly there are 43 dead Chinese soldiers. And surely you are not ignorant enough to believe that such "intercepts" are actually real?

Have fun digging through this gigantic pile ...

They want to be both. They want to show that there 20 deaths was the result of being slaughtered by barbaric Chinese forces (hence the article of Chinese "execution squads") and how they avenged this barbarism by killing 43 PLA soldiers. Hence the role of victim and victor can be fulfilled ... can't blame them though. Most countries would not want to be on the short end of a confrontation ... especially not a hyper nationalistic country like India.
