Problem is, you don't want to shoot down Indian assets OVER Indian airspace or give them any excuse to claim the attack was unprovoked (as the Indians will claim). The best diplomatic approach would be to let them celebrate first, THEN put in the counterstrike.
PL-10 ASR-class missiles, however, have a good shot of intercepting Brahmos on their way in, especially if cued by good AEW&C that can detect Brahmos at very long ranges.
While everyone here is worried about this plane or that missile, I'm more concerned about the more pressing issue of winter attire. With impending snowfall in September, will Taobao relent and allow the Indian Army to import the much needed tents?
The Indian Army is paying through the nose for stuff from outside China right now.
Which is dumb considering that the economy is not doing too well right now. Chickens are coming home to roost.
Low GDP estimates are in the -33 to -40 range. Other claims are quite high, though.

I wouldn't trust economic times or Indian defense contractor statement they tend to inflate their spec. It is still undergoing test. Anyway they will be shot down as soon as they cross the border
Agni, Akhas, Arjun they all look great in spec but has not enter service yet.
Anyway it is great to know they are expanding Hotan and Kashgar I guess this time they mean business

The biggest problem with Taiwan from a defense perspective is that the island is simply to small and too close to China. The number of fighter jets, especially a few dozen F-16s do not change anything from a military perspective. Sale of U.S. military equipment to Taiwan is more of symbolic...

In regard to Forbes, India blockading China is not a good idea. India depends on China for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and chemical fertilizers. If API imports were blocked, then India's pharmaceutical industry would just collapsed altogether. Similiar situation with chemical fertilizers. Without it, its agricultural production will be severely depressed. Despite all the calls for boycotts against China, imports from China has been INCREASING .
