You say we should do nothing and just die off like sabre-toothed tigers and mommoths etc.? The goal of every species is to survive and humans is no exception. Our chances of survival would be vastly increased if humans lived on numerous planets, because the chance of all of those planets having major disasters at the same time would be slim.

Also, America is the country that does the most to colonize space, so does Germany. They are the creators of modern mathematics and consequently modern sciences and technologies. And they are the best at doing this because their languages and their way of thinking are based on alphabetic systems, which Chinese people don't use.

Really the US and Germany is colonizing space? Please tell more. So the universal language that space aliens speak is German and English? Maybe that's true because Director Roland Emmerich, a German, is coming out with his movie 10,000 BC. In it all the cave men speak English.

You are beginning to sound silly, like Pakistani people (no offense). Now, all I'm saying is that people whose languages (and thus ways of thinking) are alphabetic are better at doing math and science. I wouldn't be surprised if America is the first country to establish a space colony on Mars, though of course Chinese people can always learn and then achieve the same.

The West (whose languages are alphabetic) created modern math, starting in the late 1400's with Renaissance and led by people like Galileo, Kepler etc. Everyone must admit that. Even today, they are leading in science research, especially theoretical physics like quantum mechanics. Chinese students can win in math contests, but, when you get to the top level science research, its Western people who are at the top. Again, everyone must admit that. Unless Chinese people give up their way of language and writing and adopt a pure alphabetic system, I'm afraid they can't best utilize their high IQ.

I read about ten years ago that 25% of US R&D scientists and engineers are Chinese. I imagine it's more now since American students in general are dropping out of math and sciences. Remember the whole Wen Ho Lee incident? Congress literally wanted all Chinese out of the national labs. Then all of sudden they stopped calling for it because why? Someone told them if they kicked out all the Chinese, important research and development would be crippled. There goes your argument.

Yes, exactly. When Chinese students speak an alphabetic language, their way of thinking changes and they can consequently utilize their IQ to make scientific advances. That's what I was saying all along.

Math is not spoken in English or German. That's why they call it the universal language.

1. As for me being Chinese or not, you are beginning to sound more and more like stupid Pakistanis, but I won't grudge with you on that.

2. Math is written in a Greek/English combo, which is an alphabetic system like English and German. No, I never said English/German is a universal language.
