Well guess some of us forgot the time tested rule that if sth looks too good to be true, then it probably is.
Given this came right out of the blue, I think more people would have been a lot more cautious and sceptical if the quaility of the CG work hasn't been so superb.
I know I took a long hard look at it and didn't find any tell tale signs that the picture had been doctored, and I am sure I wasn't the only one who couldn't tell it was a fake till the maker presented proof.
This is an impressive accomplishment by the artist, but presents headaches for the rest of us when we are trying to tell in the future if a leaked picture is real or not.
I guess the only rule of thumb that seems to hold true is that the more different angled shots we get, the greater the chance that it's a real deal, and we cannot be confident froma single image no matter how convincing it looks.
