To me, this is a non-existing aircraft. The nose looks a little like J-10 and a little like J-11. It has DSI inlet and China only has FC-1 which has DSI. I bet it is a single engine cause small fuselage and small inlet.

Sorry, not really. If you look carefully and try to imagine looking the CG from the front, you should expect to see something like a triangular shape for the nose section.

Whether the aircraft is for real is anybody's guess but there seems to be a lot of information going for it lately.

Wow! Can anybody identify all the missiles and bombs being carried on that CG model?

Outside in: PL-5, PL-8 (I don't know why they would carry two kinds of SRAAM), YJ-91/KH-31P, YJ-8K/81K/82K/83K

well, JH-7A have been the most produced plane this past year, so it's good to finally see a new regiment coming out. So, there should be at least 3 in PLAAF and 4 in PLANAF now.

Does anybody know many JH-7As were built last year exactly? I know production of the J-10 has crawled to a halt while J-11B production is only 1 or 2 airframes a months

should be around 1 regiment (around 28) a year if i was to guess. From the report that came with these photos, it looks like that regiment has fully converted to a JH-7A regiment. So, it's not just one of those regiment that just started getting JH-7A. btw, I think we are going to start noticing the same about J-10 in the future. So instead of hearing speculation and then finally seeing planes in that regiment, we are only going to find out a new regiment when PLAAF decides the conversion is finished.

Neat piece of development. Looks like one by one the Q-5 regiments are being changed.

歼轰-7A唯一一个有可能的就是西安红旗厂现在策划改进ws9的ws15,

"秦岭--2"涡扇发动机是为满足JH-7A研制的一种先进双转子加力式涡扇发动机。其方案研究工作始于1998年初。全面研制工作于1999年初

开始,由中国燃气涡轮研究院624所与西安航空发动机公司共同研制,西安航空发动机公司为承制单位。1999年初~2003年初完成核心机与验证

机试验。2001年5月核心机首次试验,对核心机进行了大量的可靠性与耐久性方面的试验,大幅度的提高热端部件寿命,2003年6月原型机首次运

转并开始地面台架试车。加速发动机的成熟,延长零部件的寿命,降低生产成本和后勤保障费用。试飞前规定试验于2005年12月完成, 于2006

年初,在JH-7上进行首飞,于2008年10月完成设计定型试验。重新编号为WS-15,代号"秦岭--2"

"秦岭--2"WS-15涡扇发动机在保持WS-9发动机外廓尺寸和附件布局基本不变的情况下,在继承国内成熟技术的基础上,通过运用大量成熟

的先进技术和多项预研成果,从增加发动机涡轮前温度和减轻结构重量两个方面对WS-9(斯贝MK202)原型机进行现代化改进,大幅度提高了发

动机的技术性能,达到了M53P2发动机中后期的技术水平。(WS-9为早期产品 WS-9A为全国产化的生产型)

"秦岭--2" WS-15涡扇发动机在WS-9发动机的基础上作了如下几个方面改进:

1. 结构改进的特点是以WS-9为基础改进设计了带气动雾化喷嘴的环形燃烧室

2.优化设计了高压涡轮叶片,改为不带冠设计,采用气膜加对流复合冷却技术

3.对重新设计了风扇,在设计过程中借鉴了国内一些先进涡扇发动机的结构设计预研成果,

风扇由原来的5级改为4级,提高了压缩比

4.对加力燃烧室和尾喷管进行优化设计,采用新的耐高温合金材料,改进冷却设计,减轻重量

5.取消附 面 层控制系统 

6.对其它部件、系统、成件等作了适应性改进。为减轻重量进一步扩大了钛合金的应用范围
