These numbers indicate PLAAF 5th Division at Qingdao. This division is well known for its white Q-5s. Got this from the CDF.

Wait, aren't the regiments with 8xxxx supposed to be PLANAF regiments? Anyhow, nice to finally see the photo of a new regiment.

PLANAF right. Mistype. Not to be confused with the PLAAF 5th Division which is also another Q-5 division and is also another candidate for JH-7A conversion.

The pic is new, but has quickly spread around since the CFTC promo video was released. CFTC probably didn't expect so much ruckus over a marketing video.

... regarding the missiles, are You sure that these are YJ-83K ??? Esp. the one in the 2. + 3. picture looks more like the KD-88 !

Could be wrong. As I remembered, there are only 8 divisions in PLANAF, 1,2,5 in north, 3, 4 in east and 7, 8, 9 in south. No 14th division.

The 14th division of PLAAF located in Jiangxi, equipted with J7 before. Could be them who got JH7A.

Can anyone tell me what's the difference between YJ-83 and KD-88. I always thought they are the same. Just one for the navy, the other for the airforce.

actually, to be honest, I thought the same. But the guy who posted these pictures insisted that they are YJ-83K. I think YJ-83K is supposed to be slightly larger than KD-88 if you saw the previous pictures of them. And also KD-88 has those antennas (which the 1st and 2nd picture has) The third one actually looks like LGB + targetting pod.

Edit: just got another KD-88 picture, you can see those Antennas, looks like the IIR or EO variant.
