Just saw this on MP a group of cadets training with flight sim likely for JH-7.

It would be interesting to learn how good the virtual software and technologies are there. It wasn't too long ago you saw them training on desktop PCs.

PLAAF JH-7A use YJ-91 Anti-radiation missile or Anti-ship versions ?

The JH-7 is the un-sung hero of the PLAN air force. The aircraft is an incredible bomb truck that also has an incredible range. With three drop tanks and two Yingji-82 ASM this aircraft could attack a convey for almost any point on the compass.

My only complaint is the single 23mm GSh-23. It would have been nice to have a single or double 30mm gun on the aircraft

no way to tell for sure, but i'd personally guess it's ARM, as during all these years there has been no indication plaaf and planaf share their respective missions. i'd guess plaaf's jh7 are equipped for ground strikes but not maritime strikes and planaf's jh7 are equipped for maritime strikes but not (precise) ground strikes.
