Azerbaijan Invests in Turkish Missiles for Its Squadron of JF-17 Fighters.

Seems lot of contradictions in this news article, such as.....
  • No official confirmation from either Pakistan nor Azerbaijan
  • No confirmation yet of Turkish weapons integration/configuration on JFs
  • Will China/Turkey allow the weapon integration
That web site looks like a rumor manufacturer. There is no name of author of article, nor does any article provide the source, not even the usual phrase of "according to unnamed source". Absolutely nothing but assertions. I would stay away from this kind of web site.

Reread the post again... It made reference to the "integration of Turkish missiles" that was purported in the article on JFs.
I should be more clear. I think that website is trash
That being said, just in the general context of "Would China allow the integration of Turkish missiles"?
It is possible since they already did the Aselpod integration, and possibly even exported it (Nigeria)

Allegedly Azerbaijan has received first JF- Block 3 aircraft BUT you all know how much I enjoy making myself unpopular with fan-boys! ;)

But why does this particular aircraft still is in PAF livery, has a PAF serial number and carries PAF roundels? Or do you really present your Air Force's latest toy behind your president in another Air Force's livery and markings?

Like I said already so often - and again I can only hope that this does not offend anyone even if surely again some will misread this - I only thrust an official confirmation in which for example the Air Force clearly states, we have introduced this and that type or after seeing an image in a certain Air Force colours, markings & numbers!!

Otherwise like all this fuss around "Pakistan will get J-31 in 2025" and "Egypt will get a production line" I only believe it when I see it ... and as such - regardless what the link says - the sentence can also mean, "The jets have - aka this type - already been integrated into the arsenal of Azerbaijan's Air Force." but NOT this specific aircraft!

Could it be that at least THIS particular aircraft is still a PAF JF-17C regardless what the official announcement says?

I think the JF-17 block III is there for air show.

The JF-17 on display might be (the first) one delivered from PAF inventory. They displayed the fighter with a full, live weapons load it seems. No blue bands indicating inert ones.

They might have opted for the first few to be delivered from the PAF inventory for training and integration purposes, with more being build and delivered later on.

That's the president's website.
How much more official can it even get?

Likely actual azeri ones are in production - this one is either an exhibition piece, or a temporary substitute.
interesting how they'll match preferable(turkish) with available(chinese/pakistani) weapon systems. Like, som?
