The fact that Meteor is a ramjet gives it at a definitive physics advantage over any similar-size rocket AAM like the PL-15 or AMRAAM, that's something no radar or updates will be able to overcome.Meteor is a missile lagging pretty hard

not an expert but I like to think I know what I am saying. go on.Any resident AAM expert in here? wish to ask a couple of question.
SD-10 and AIM120C, are they both blast fragmentation warhead or one could be continuous rod?not an expert but I like to think I know what I am saying. go on.

Came across an Article on Sina (i normally take that with a grain of salt normally). The article is about JF17 scoring 2:0 against Eurofighter in Gulf Shield 2018, and went on to say during 2019 Balakot engagement, the theory was the AIM120C Indian side found was fired by F16 against Su30mkis, which were dodged by MKIs( using Israel made EW pods.) The Mig 21 was actually brought down by SD10 fired by JF17, the photos of the wreckage shows pattern of HE frag shrapnel damages. Oddly the author mentioned AIM120C being continuous rod.Its rare for fighter AAMs to use continuous rod, that is generally only found on MANPADs, and is intended to allow the small warheads of MANPADs to be able to punch through the armour of attack helicopters and dedicated CAS jets.
Conventional AAMs and SAMs have a sufficiently big warhead that they can use HE frag and still have a high kill probability even against armour targets, so there is little benefit to using continuous rod over HE owing to the much greater spread cone of HE frag, and hence hit probability.

He went on to say Rafale's Aesa still based on GaA technology while JF17's is based on GaN (didnt mention Block 2 or 3). So i was wondering i could debunk some of the claims.
